Razer Anzu Smart Glasses - A Spectacular Blend of Style and Technology!
I recently got my hands on the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses, and I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled with this cutting-edge piece of eyewear for its prize point. These smart glasses have seamlessly combined style and technology in a way that has exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, let's talk about the design. The Razer Anzu glasses strike a perfect balance between a sleek, modern aesthetic and a comfortable fit. The frames are lightweight and stylish, making them suitable for both casual wear and more formal occasions. The choice of frame styles and lens options ensures that there's a perfect pair for everyone's taste. I got the rectangular design. I love how they look and feel on my face. Now, let's dive into the smart features. The built-in speakers are an absolute game-changer. They provide crisp and clear audio without the need for any earbuds or headphones. Whether I'm taking calls, listening to music, or following GPS directions while driving or walking, the audio quality has been consistently impressive. I appreciate the open-ear design that allows me to stay aware of my surroundings, making them perfect for outdoor activities. The Razer Anzu's integrated touch controls on the frames are intuitive and convenient. Adjusting the volume, pausing or skipping tracks, and answering calls can all be done with simple gestures, eliminating the need to fumble with my smartphone. The inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity ensures a seamless pairing experience with my devices. I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life of these smart glasses. With moderate usage, I can easily go for a day or more without needing to recharge. The charging process is quick and hassle-free, so I never have to worry about being caught with a dead battery. Another standout feature is the blue light filtering and UV protection provided by the lenses. As someone who spends long hours in front of screens, this feature has made a noticeable difference in reducing eye strain and fatigue. Durability and build quality are also top-notch. The glasses feel sturdy and well-made, which is crucial for an accessory I wear daily. In summary, the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses have won me over with their style, comfort, and impressive technology. They seamlessly integrate into my daily life, adding convenience and style while enhancing my overall audio experience. If you're looking for smart glasses that are as fashionable as they are functional, I wholeheartedly recommend giving the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses a try. They've certainly left me thoroughly satisfied and impressed!

Great for the price!
The first thing I am going to say is that you will want the regular sized frames. Always the regular! I feel like I have a big head and the larges were huge and looked so ridicules on me! The regulars looked great! The stems are a little thicker than I would like but not too bad. If you are the type of person that likes this kind of tech, you can handle it. The sound level is a bit lower than my other pair of ohO ones I bought, and the ohO ones are more low profile, but the sound quality on the Razor glasses is soooooo much better. No crackling on more bass heavy songs. The big seller on these is the interchangeable lenses. This way I have more than doubled the amount of use I can get out of them. I'm not limited to only outside use. I can wear them around the house and while doing work in front of the computer. There isn't really enough consistent data to support use of Blue Light Filtering glasses, so I wouldn't buy these specifically for that purpose, but it's nice to not have buds jammed in my ear for everyday tasks. For the price I would absolutely recommend these. The only con I have is that there is no volume control on the glasses. Thats it!

Great for specific uses
I bought the Anzus, and have had them for a week. You should ignore any review that just got them that day and haven't had them long enough to learn what they don't like. The Razer Anzus. Read the other reviews for battery life and connectivity, I'm going to talk about what actually matters, if you will like them or not. The most important thing to determine here is what you're going to use the Razer Anzu for. They are amazing in some roles, and terrible in others. Do not buy the Anzus if you want them for the following: -Being blue light blocking glasses -Being sunglasses -Being good for music, movies, or TV audio With that out of the way, what are they good for? They are probably the single best way to participate in conference calls, Zoom meetings, and working from home, that I've tried. The microphone quality is exceptionally good, but there is no mic in front of your face. That's pretty much unheard of. They are more comfortable than any headset, ear bud, etc (my second favorite device for this is the Aftershokz OpenComm btw). Your ears are open so you can hear the doorbell, dog barking, spouse nagging, etc. You can wear them all day even when you're not on a call, there is no need to take them off. I listen to music all day when not in calls; before the Anzu, I either had to listen to music on something that didn't sound as good (like a normal Bluetooth headset), or take the headset off after every call. With the Anzu I put them on in the morning, and take them off at the end of the day. The only better way to do this is to use speakers and a desktop microphone (which I also do sometimes), but then you can't go upstairs to make coffee during a meeting. The other thing they are great for I will generally describe as being "connected," or maybe "smart watch replacement." If you are anything like me, you always miss calls when your phone is in your pocket. A lot of you are using smart watches, and that works. I don't like smart watches. But if I know an important call might be coming in, wearing these glasses is a great way to be alerted without having my phone in my hand. If you don't like smart watches but want to know about every notification, these are the ticket. Could you wear Airpods all day with nothing playing? Sure. But wearing glasses you forget about after 2 minutes is much less annoying, says me. Now the bad. I am a huge fan of computer glasses (I have been using Gunnars for 10 years). The blue light lenses in the Anzus do nothing to block blue light (like all clear blue light lenses). 35% blocking is a lie (like all 35% blocking blue light lenses, which are all clear). This may be a controversial statement, but its physics. If a lens is blocking blue light, the resulting image will have more yellow/orange in it. These are crystal clear. If the lens isn't yellow or orange, they are not blocking blue light, period. They may be blocking ALL light, which just means they are making everything dark. That said, examine why you need blue light blocking glasses. Blue light is not bad for your eyes (proven). It does keep you up at night. If you want to block blue light for your eye health, you've been sold snake oil (its ok, a lot of us were). If you want to block blue light so you can fall asleep better, that's valid, but every operating system now can turn amber at a scheduled time or based on sunset, and that accomplishes the same thing. Based on my experience, the discomfort I experience using a computer monitor without glasses isn't because of blue light, its because of dryness. Any glasses resolve this for me. I replaced my Gunnars with the Anzus and did not experience discomfort. As a comparison, if I don't wear any glasses at the computer, my eyes start to bother me because I'm so used to the Gunnars. So, if you want them for blue-light blocking, they aren't that. If you want them for eye comfort while using the computer, they might help. I haven't tried the sunglass lenses. I'm too much of a sunglass snob to use Razer sunglasses. If you don't care about sunglasses they are probably fine, but I would choose one or the other (clear or sunglass). I wouldn't rely on switching the lenses a lot because I'm afraid they would get loose or break. If you want that, buy two pairs. Finally, the other "bad" thing, the sound. The sound is "fine." It is great for voice, so if you want to do calls or podcasts, you're good to go. If you want to listen to music, only use these if you don't care about sound quality (which based on the sales numbers for Beats, Skullcandy, etc, is a lot of you). Because the drivers are tiny and there is no seal with your ear, you will get no bass or low end, and they also don't reveal much detail in the music. They are fine for a little bit here or there, but I would not recommend these as a primary headphone replacement for music. Full disclosure, I am probably an "audiophile," so take this with a grain of salt; many of you would probably be happy with these for music, but I'm not. Finally, they come with a charging cable. It is very hard to find, nestled in the leather case in a hidden pocket. Don't write a negative review saying they didn't come with a cable because you couldn't find it.

Affordable and High Quality
These glasses have genuinely reduced my eye strain during long screen sessions in a way I didn’t expect. I wear them through work and gaming and notice significantly less fatigue and headache by the end of the day. The built-in speakers deliver surprisingly solid audio for casual listening. The frame design is sleek enough to wear out in public without looking like a tech experiment. Razer absolutely nailed this product.

Great “Quality” Smart Glasses (When On Sale)
These glasses are a good premium “feeling” product. The connectivity with Bluetooth is awesome, the sound is phenomenal, in most ways they are comparable to Bose smart glasses. Now for the faults: the joint between the glasses and the temples are not very sturdy, and they implement a “hook-in” style switch and hinge that can pop out very easily and the switch inside it is what turns your glasses on and off. So if that hinge breaks in any way then you are out of luck. Unfortunately the hooks used in the hinge are flimsy pieces of plastic. For context my pie broke within a week but I was able to fix them u til they finally went down for the count a few months later. I’m also not a huge fan of the proprietary magnetic charger and having to charge each temple separately. Be aware that the size “small” is also “medium” and fits most people comfortably within reason, and that the temples are spring loaded in the hinge as well so it doesn’t squeeze your head if they don’t fit perfectly. If these are on sale for $30-$40 then jump all over it, but if they stick to this $60-$70 price I will never buy them again. I would definitely like to get them again but I refuse to pay the ridiculous price they are asking or get the round pair. If you need some “smart” glasses that are affordable and don’t break the bank then get the OhO Sunshine glasses, they even go on sale for as low as $10 or less!!! But usually they are right around $30-$40 which is the absolute most these types of glasses should ever be. Hopefully they go on sale again but if not then just shop around and you will find something else comparable.

FAULTY, NO SUPPORT, AND A GIANT WASTE OF MONEY
At first, I loved these smart glasses. The style, shape, and comfort of them was fantastic! The swappable lenses were a huge plus as I could wear them golfing. However, the glasses just quit working out of nowhere after a few months. They would charge, but simply wouldn't turn on anymore. I contacted support about this issue and they required me to send proof of purchase and video proof. After doing both these things, they admitted that the product was faulty and the issues were not caused by me or anything I did. Yet, they still said that there is nothing they could do. After going back and forth about the issue, they claimed, "After reviewing your case, I am sad to inform you that we are unable to provide a replacement... We know this is not the resolution you would want from us but we are here to help you get through your case." So they couldn't provide me any sort of resolution, but it's okay because they are always here to help. Overall, terrible company with even worse customer service. Would give 0 stars if I could. **UPDATE** I ended up speaking with 5 different customer service representatives. Every single one of them fed me the same line about helping resolve my issue, but there was nothing they could do. Then they insulted me with offering me a $10 discount on future products. I asked each representative for a complaint form or survey and each time they would switch to another representative. So clearly they just don't want to take blame or criticism. Terrible product and terrible company.

Perfect for my PC gaming
I have a very specific use-case for these, and they fit it perfectly. Anything else, I don't even know if I'd recommend them. Music - no thanks, you're better off using your phone's speakers Going outdoors - no thanks, everyone can hear what you're listening to Comfort - I put nose pads on the bridge and also the ear hinges, otherwise they're pretty painful for long periods Battery life - decent 4-6 hours For PC gaming, I sit next to my partner and we both use these to listen to the game and speak to each other without using our mics. For that use-case, and that only, these are great. I've even started using them to game on my own so I can hear when someone is talking to me. Honestly, to my ears, they sound fine for PC gaming. On games where you use the mic, you have to switch out the audio source in order for them to go back to normal stereo mode, but that's a minor bother for the price point. YMMV.

Great running glasses for music
I want to give these a solid 4.5 stars if I could. These glasses are great. I've had these for over a year now and they're my go to for music while running long distance. Realistically they get more like 4 hours for me at 60% volume, which is good enough for a marathon. But I usually don't run more than 10 miles. I find that 5+ earbuds I've tested all fall out once the running sweat starts to pile on. So these are great for running. Some say wind gets in the way, but that's not true. That's like saying I can't hear my blutooth speaker because of wind. I've tested the call quality with many friends. The mic on these are far better than all my earbuds. Obviously in earbuds are better for listening, but these are great. My only gripe is that after a few hours, there is definitely some pain behind the ears as some others have noted. But throughout the week when running 3-5 miles, I don't have them on long enough to notice.
