Works good but will drain the battery if left connected to the battery. Recommend a switch be installed between the adapter and regulator if left on the battery. I use it for ice fishing unit.

This little device has so many applications that turn my 18v batteries into mini power centers for the automotive repair industry. I have saved so much money building my own testing platforms such as trailer testers, individual light testers and isolation testers for work. I have also incorporated it into a stand alone power center for my side my side to remove strain off my vehicle battery for the lights and electrical add ons I use, seat heaters, defrosters, portable 12 volt power on the trail, and camping! Will definitely be buying a couple of more to keep from having to move it from one platform to another, which is easily done with the handy flip up connector supplied

It seems the voltage step down always draws power from the battery no matter if youre using it or not. If you have older M18 batteries like me, this can kill the li-ion cells beyond repair. The battery I lost from this was about 10 years old. One of the cells was discharged to zero and wouldnt take a charge. I would install a cheap switch in line with the battery leads, take out the fuse or disconnect the battery when you're not using it. All in all this is a great idea if you already have M18 batteries and dont want to pay 50 bucks for another power wheels sized lead acid battery.

Put this on a power wheels knockoff and it works great. Glad I used the inverter as to not burn up the wheel motors.

Our daughters bronco would barely make it through the yard that’s relatively flat, so I started looking for an alternative. This arrived quickly, was easy to install and works great. Sometimes have difficulty removing the battery from it but nothing too crazy.

It works as described, used it on a older model that doesn't have room for mounting the step down and the battery receptical, but it does what I need it to do.

I had a different one connected before without the voltage limiter/ protector. It has much more power but destroyed two Milwaukee batteries and burnt a fuse out and melted it. So this one has less power but works much more reliably and safely.

I upgraded my old 12v 7.5ah battery for my 3 wheel gokart to the Milwaukee battery and it works flawlessly. It lasts a long time on full charge with 8 12v LEDs connected.

This adapter is very easy to connect with minimal need of tools. It works great with milwaukee batteries, the advantage of having this adapter to power your toy is that you can have multiple charged batteries and can be switched very easily and quickly providing more run time than the regular build in battery or the ride on toy.

I used to carry a car battery to run my diesel heater when camping. With this I can now lighten my load and just bring a couple of rechargable batteries. Works awesome with M18’s.
