Great product

I’m not pleased with the Trap. I have small snaking turtles that are maybe 3-5 pounds. I’ll drive up and see them laying on the top of the Trap. I also checked the Trap which had 2 Turtles in the Trap one morning. When my husband got home they had escaped. I wouldn’t recommended especially considering the price. We’ve not be able to catch any turtles to relocate. We are back to square one and out ALOT of money.

Floats are not very good quality. Noticed the trap was half sunk after just an hour in the water and found a pin hole I could see with my naked eye. The air inlet also leaked. The seller has not responded to my request for a replacement float almost a week later. The metal part of the trap is well built and I put a tire plug in the float and have caught my first turtle.

Pond full of turtles placed in the sun where they frequent and been out for a month and not had a single turtle caught. 22 bullets are a lot cheaper. Maybe if the floats were a dark color instead of glowing white it might not scare the turtles off. Way over priced for not catching single turtle. And I have a pond full of turtles that are destroying fish beds. Probably end up selling it on eBay.

Looks like a turtle catching machine, hopefully. I've had it in the water for 6 days and only had 1 small turtle climb on top of it that was too small to fall in. I even put a dead fish on the door and had no takers except flies. The larger turtles will look at it but so far have no interest in it. I hope I didn't waste my money.

the equipment is well built. been in the water a couple weeks. really hard to say how it is going to work. followed directions on setting the depth. sorry to say have not caught any turtles yet. with such little use so far I don't know it is fair for me to rate the trap. the trap has not shown that is worth the price. 2 stars could be low but it has not proven to be great trap.

I bought this expensive product and the first time using a turtle chewed holes into the hollow floats. $350 and zero turtles with damaged / sinking product. Maybe make the damn floats solid floats......

Tried many a "homemade" trap with little success. But with this trap, I caught 10 turtles in the 1st week, and another 5 the second week. DEFINITELY worth the price!
