A page turner that I couldn't put down
This book has a million reviews so what more can I say? I loved it from beginning to end and I couldn't seem to put it down. With every chapter ending I couldn't wait to start the next one. The writing was superb and the character development was excellent. I enjoyed how different each of the Hawthorne brothers were in their personalities. The little bit of romance didn't hurt the story either. Also, I liked the first-person perspective of Avery Grambs. I liked seeing how the story unfolded from her point of view. It makes you think, 'What would I do in the same situation?' All in all it was a great book and I look forward to reading the next in the series.

4 stars
The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was an engaging and fast-paced mystery full of twists and turns. I really enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the story — it was fun to follow along as the characters solved each clue and uncovered new secrets. The game-like structure of the plot made the story feel interactive, and the constant reveals kept me hooked. The Hawthorne family drama added tension and intrigue, making the mystery even more compelling. I never felt like the story was predictable, and each new clue added another layer to the mystery. Overall, this was a clever and entertaining read that balances suspense, puzzles, and drama, making it hard to put down. A solid four-star read.

Intriguing
The amount of times I’ve read this novel is truly shameful lol. I really love the blend of mystery games. The romance was OK which I like. I liked that the romance did not overtake the plot of the story. I like that it was just included. I find it very interesting. I truly would love to meet the mind that created the story and discover how they came up with their ideas. Although the characters were interesting, the development was interesting. Although the plot was truly unique, which is one of the reasons I’ve read it so much. I cannot stand people who copy off each other, and this author did not copy off of anybody.

The Inheritance Games
The first two thirds of the book were interesting. I finished it, but I had little interest in the last third of the book. All those games seemed ridiculous to me.

fun book with a mansion full of secrets
Not my favorite genre but I enjoyed it nevertheless. A fun book, twists and turns. It centers around a big mansion that's full of secrets, which is a fun setting, and a host of characters where you're not sure who the true villain is.

Best book ever written ♟️💚💵
Quite literally one of the best books ever written. Jennifer Lynn Barnes has this way with writing that sucks you in within seconds. Every little detail is important to the big picture so you can’t ignore even the smallest thing. This book is one you can literally binge, so if you’re ever bored, just pick this up and you’ll be set for a week straight- you’ll be buying the rest of the series the day you read the first chapter in this phenomenal series.

The Game Begins...
This book gave me life. I could feel myself slipping into a slump but this book grabbed my hand and pulled me out. Avery Kylie Grambs was just another kid stuck in the world of poverty with a deadbeat dad and mother who passed. She was living with her half sister to get by while she finished high school with plans to get out of town quick. However, billionaire Tobias Hawthorne dies and leaves EVERYTHING to Avery with no explanation as to why. The biggest piece of the puzzle, she's never met the man in her life.....or so she thought. The Inheritance Games is FULL of twists and turns and puzzles and riddles. It will make you go mad because you just cannot read fast enough. Avery is thrown into this mansion in Texas with the family of the deceased who was robbed of their inheritance by this 17 year old girl. No one knows why the old man left her everything but Avery and the four grandsons are on a mission to find out. I was a tad worried this was going to be some weird reverse harem but thankfully it did not end up that way. I feel like for the first time in a while, I actually like the main character. She is thrown into a horrendous situation and comes out stronger for it and actually tries to grow. She has her whiny my life is horrible moment but her best friend Max helps bring her out of it. Max is definitely my favorite character. Despite having such a strict family (think Lane from Gilmore Girls) she does what she can to help her friend stay sane and set her straight. The grandsons each have their own quirks. I like all of them except Nash. The rest of the family, nah. They can buzz off. Anywhooo this book will give your life and make you crazy. I binged both books 1 and 2 in 4 days and am already DYING for book 3.

A wildly entertaining, twisty delight!
he Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an absolute page-turner that hooked me from the very first chapter. When a teenage girl inherits a billionaire’s fortune — and his sprawling, puzzle-filled mansion — she’s thrown into a world of secrets, riddles, and cutthroat competition with his four brilliant (and very attractive) grandsons. This book is pure fun. The puzzles and clues are clever, the mansion itself feels like a character, and the fast-paced plot kept me guessing until the very end. Avery is a smart, resourceful protagonist I loved rooting for, and the Hawthorne brothers are magnetic — each with their own distinct personality and charm.Perfect blend of mystery, family drama, romance, and high-stakes games. I couldn’t put it down and immediately wanted to dive into the sequel. If you love clever puzzles, wealthy dysfunctional families, and addictive YA thrillers, this one is a must-read.Highly recommend!

The inheritance games book review
4/5⭐️ This boll was good. I likes the many riddles and games this book contains. The writing was easy to read but in the same time great. The chapters were short and refreshing. Something I didn’t like about the book though was that I felt like it focused more about the riddles and games then the emotions of the characters. I mean the book didn’t talk about the emotions of the character so much. That can be a good or bad thing, but I personally would prefer more emotions from the characters. I would recommend this book in general, but I would recommend this book a little bit extra if you are I person who likes riddles and puzzles or if you are into open and thrilling endings that keeps you holding your breath to know what comes next.
