Osti Original replacement wires for Osti Cheese slicers

I was disappointed when the included wire on my Osti broke after less than 30 days...but I'm still on the first wire from this three-pack, and it's going strong after months. I almost always use this to slice mild cheddar. I've taken to keeping a finger pressed against the back side of the wire just above where it inserts into the handle, to help reduce stress on the weakest point. I'm not sure if I just had a bad wire to begin with or if the finger to reduce lateral flex/stress makes that much difference. I'm sure it helps anyway.

The order arrived as detailed - three in the pack. Yes, it is a fiddle to get the wire back on to the tool itself, but it does fit ... eventually! Very happy to have it mended.
