It's only for one tv or one device over long distance from hdmi to ethernet cable cat 5 , 6 . I was looking for one which splits at both sides as to take sky hdmi and dvd etc. Then at tv side it connects to another ethernet to another tv upstairs as old granite house wifi just not good enough. Also the original one's which were on system had a remote connection which could control everything upstairs as built into the house. But at least it works and not too expensive clear picture easy to use good signal. The original is fried as installers put it beside heat so it was like an oven. But this one is perfect for one device and one tv !.

I bought this at the end of July and it’s now the middle of September. I run it over cat5e from downstairs where the virgin media box is to upstairs in the bedroom. It’s been flawless, no dropouts at all like my old one. One thing to note is that this is hdmi extender only, not infra red, meaning it doesn’t send your remote control signals too. Luckily, because the virgin media remote control uses RF this is not a problem for me.

This is a great low budget HDMI over IP network/ Cat Cable solutions, extending Video signals over 30 meters (98 feet) up to 50 meters ( 164 feet) network cable length. Great for connecting TV's back to game consoles or PC's, or Monitor to Camara, Server Remote Monitor access and more. The only draw back I can see, is that you need to run a single segment of CAT5/6 cable between its HDMI transmitter and Receiver module, for the purpose of powering each module . As the received does same to be able to be powered separately using a POE hub, a separate 12v PSU, or works across an pre-existing Hub/Switch based network? It works really well over an a bespoke/ dedicated network cable, solid build, 12v or less, so low powered and is a very cheap option for the price. There No USE Infra red (IR), or USB controller functionality, just video. If yo need keyboard, mouse or controller functionality I'm afraid that you'll need to go for the more expensive KVM console solution. But looking of video, then this option is simple to install and cheap But I am yet to try out an old IP Phone solution, of using special Network and DC power supply CAT5/6 cable adaptor trick, to try power the receiver module, from across an already existing hub/switch based network.

Works great. Used in a building with RJ45 patched via wall/floor sockets. Running the HDMI signal from CCTV recorded across 20 meters without any issues. Works great.

Discounting fibre HDMI cables due to cost I've tried both 5 or10m "standard " cables and this extender. This is great! a) it uses POE so only one end is powered b) the cat 6 ethernet is cheap and if it did get damaged easily replaced c) the signal is robustly and consistently delivered. I say this as one of my 5m standard cables heads to the bin and my 10m cable is choosy about what devices it will work with.

I got this to send a HD (1080p/25fps) picture from the HDMI output of a camera to an ATEM switcher. I used a cat 6 cable over 15m and it worked flawlessly for over 20 hours over 2 days (it was also very hot!). I was expecting some glitches or picture degradation but I saw neither of those. The range claims to be a lot more but I don't have a longer run to verify that.

Moin, habe mir diesen Extender bestellt um den Empfang von meinem Receiver vom Wohnzimmer in den Keller zu bringen. Genial ist das ich jetzt auch den Receiver mit der Fernbedienung vom Keller aus steuern kann.

Je l'utilise pour transmettre un flux vidéo jusqu'à un vidéoprojecteur. Aucun problème, l'image est parfaite et le signal est très stable avec un câble de 10 mètres.

Efter lite strul som säljaren löste exemplariskt kunde jag börja använda förlängaren. Den fungerar precis som den ska.
