Very easy to install. Works great! I have MS and my feet lose dexterity often. This product allows me to drive and keep my independence. I have to think that the negative reviews on here are due to the item not being installed correctly.

If I would give 10 stars I would, my husband is a double amputee and hadn't driven in over 7 years, this product gave him his life back, hooked up in about 5 minutes and he was off just a great product, for some one that has lower limb issues this is a life saver !

Work perfectly..easy to use

Very easy to install super easy to use. Does not jam up between the handle or the push button like other brand I have tried. It’s a bit pricey but after using other brands this is definitely safer. Compatible with most motor vehicles. I highly recommend. Well worth the extra money compared to other brand.

Solid controls, strong enough to be your daily use controls. Easy to install from a chair but the adjustment pins will take some fine motor skills for SCI's using them for rentals and traveling. They work for me in either hand I just need to adjust the throttle pole length depending on which side I use. The only complaints I have is that I would have liked there to have been another hole or 2 to shorten the brake pole a little-more. The gas clamp to be a little shorter as it came really close to rubbing the brake pedal on my Mazda 5. There was no over the steering strap like others either. These issues I can fix if it really needs to be but for me now I'm good with it. I'm a double below knee amputee and have no problems driving with these. Tip: take your time or a course to learn hand controls. Motorcycle riders may find them an easy switch with little reprocessing but others may need more time. Oh! They get cold in the winter and take awhile to warm up.

After having my right leg amputated above the knee 2.5 years ago, I purchased the QuicStick with hope of returning to manual transmissions. Despite these hand controls being overly expensive for what they are, I can’t put a price on the joy of being able to “comfortably” drive a stick again. The installation is simple and straightforward. There’s a wide range of adjustments to suit most cars and drivers. The hand grip is comfortable and provides decent feedback on pedal position. It could be improved upon in certain areas such as the slack in the joints themself which make rev matching on downshifts feel somewhat disconnected but still manageable. Also the size and thickness of the mounting plates to the pedals could be trimmed some but for 99% of drivers out there, they will suffice in their standard configuration. Keep in mind that I purchased this product solely at my own discretion for the operation of manual transmission equipped vehicles. Your results may vary.

They work but are quiet unruly and can be rather clunky. The price and quality are definitely not up to par. They feel like something you would buy for $60 not almost 200 and pecises have already fallen off.

Ive never needed hand controls till now but cant avoid any longer. I wanted to know if my brain could adapt before i even reached out to DMV. These were affordable enough to take that half step down the path, without going all in. Need a knee pad to get them on but ita quick. I have euro car so am getting the euro clamp but regular will clamp onto VERTICAL SIDE of gas pedal, thanks guys for the photo demo. Day one was an abandoned parking lot and i was having fun like at amusement park -not scary like i had feared, day 2 was back roads in quiet corcer of suburbia, day 3 was a state park up to 30mph. Totally doable and now its time to talk to dvm, backward from most people i know, but i didnt want to be sobbing and freaked out w dmv trainer. I hope they let me keep my quickstik!!! I use rhe silicone snap on wheel spinner for $10 it works better cheaper and much easier install than the wrench and screw type ones. Ive been dreading this day for years now but i think it might actual be fun to drive again. Who knows. The only issue with these is a rotation in the hand and sometimes the hand part gets “stuck in” the steering wheel but hopefully i learn the right wrist position. It’s already happening less. Wish me luck !
