This is the best bath salt ever. Pricey but worth the quality produced.

The packaging of these bath salts is understated and sophisticated and the aroma wafts up at you as soon as you open the Amazon delivery box. The jar it comes in is thick, solid glass. The bath salts dissolve readily in your hot bath water and, I have to say, the scent of it is absolutely sublime, quite a heady mix of aroma. It’s not really a floral perfume, though there is some lavender in there, nor is it fruity or spicy exactly (though there’s citrus in there too. ‘Aromatics’ is, I guess, what you’d have to call the main constituent parts - eucalyptus and germanium, verbena and juniper and others. Whoever mixed the fragrance has done an amazing job and it fills your bathroom with this luxurious, gorgeous aroma that is relaxing and yet invigorating. Perhaps more a ‘manly’ fragrance than a traditional ‘feminine’ floral-scented product? The bath salts are mostly the consistency of traditional bath salts (similar to rock salt) though there are some white little blobs in there that look a bit like white chocolate so you might want to be a bit vigilant with very young children - not that, at the price of the stuff, you’re likely to let the children use it. And, of course, that’s the elephant in the room with the product - it is way more expensive than I’d consider spending on a bath product, except as a very special present, maybe. What you get for your money is certainly high quality and gorgeously scented but you’ll have to decide whether you want to spend that much on bath salts.

Product itself is sublime - great smell and feels wonderful in the bath. However, as others have noted it is expensive, and in my case the lid came so cracked - I think in the shipping process, that I have a very expensive jar with only half a lid. I would be buying it as a fancy present for friends, but am concerned that the product will come damaged again which would make for a shoddy present!

I often use bath salts for sports recovery so this is much more indulgent than I'd usually use. Firstly, it arrived in a gorgeous glass jar, very luxurious looking and would be a great, expensive-looking gift for someone special. The jar is quite small, but a little goes quite a long way - the jar is a similar size to maybe a body cream or moisturiser, so very small, but I think judging by what I've used so far, you could easily get 4-6 portions out of it. It's priced at £30 with free amazon delivery. While it feels expensive, it's similar value to when I've visited a bath bomb and cosmetics shop on the high street and bought 5-6 bath bombs. The bath salts dissolve instantly, and don't leave that horrible grit on the bottom of the bath. You can visibly see the shimmer of oils on the surface of the water, and when you get in the bath, you feel very much covered in a soft, nourishing oil. The smell is gorgeous - very fresh and herbal, but still a little perfumed, so would be ideal for a man or woman. The smell has filled my whole house and I can smell it for hours afterwards, and my skin is really soft. This is definitely an indulgent treat or perfect gift for someone who likes luxury toiletries. While it would be out of my budget for a regular purchase, I still would give it 5 stars as it's just so lovely. It is pricy but well worth it for a treat.
