Horrible flea infestation, GREAT product!
About 3 months ago I bought a house with my husband and our dog. We brought our dog in as soon as we got the keys and let her run in the backyard and in the house. Not even being in the house for a full 15 minutes and our dog was COVERED in 100-200 fleas( this was in the dead of the February cold when fleas aren't even that active!). Thankfully we had a couple months before moving in which gave us time to treat the place. We tried treating with diatomaceous earth but it didn't really help and created a mess, we removed the carpet which helped a little, but the fleas were still everywhere. I got Vet's Best because it is primarily a natural solution compared to chemical based ones you can find. I bought a few bottles because our yard is larger than the area than they recommend a bottle can cover. I also bought one bottle of the indoor use product. I sprayed the yard with one bottle and was initially disappointed because I still saw a few fleas two days later. Since I had extra bottles and I knew the recommended dose shouldn't have covered our yard, I sprayed again being fed up with seeing fleas. At this point I also went in the house with the indoor spray and sprayed along every single baseboard, as well as spraying the general room areas. It has now been ~3 months since we treated with Vet's Best and ~1 month since we moved in and we have seen only 2 fleas, both of which were found dead. None in the house, none in the yard and none on the dog. Since the initial treatment, I have been keeping up with the recommended spraying every ~3 weeks for the yard and the occasional spray here or there in the house(just out of paranoia). For a more long term solution I will be applying beneficial nematodes; however, my husband and I joke how we will keep ordering Vet's Best for the smell( it smells AMAZING!). The only down sides I found was the application it's self. Since I have now used several bottles, I can tell that the dilution is not consistent. Some bottles seem to deliver the material very quickly, while others seem to give an even distribution until the bottle is done. For both bottle dilutions it seems to run out pretty quickly, so I recommend moving fast. Overall I cannot rate this product highly enough. It smells great, its natural and it gets the job done. I could not be happier that my house is flea-free!

Worked like magic in my yard!!
This was my first time using this product. I have almost an acre of property and the back yard is more than half of it. I had to take my puppy to the ER a few months ago because he had a bad case of constant diarrhea. Even though that was unfortunate, the ER vet was amazing and gave me all kind of tips for keeping my puppy/dog healthy. She, having seen the bad side of medications, did not recommend that I give my dog a pill for fleas and ticks; she said itโs much safer to either put a flea & tick collar on him, or to have my yard sprayed with something natural and non-toxic to dogs. Having a friend that worked for a pest control company, he told me he could give me a great deal on his companyโs pest control plan (like $400 for the year), but he said if it was his yard, he would buy something at Home Depot and do it himself, as itโs the same stuff and would be much cheeper to DIY. With that in mind, I looked at the stuff from Home Depot and then came to Amazon, as I always, do to compare. When I found this one it seemed good but I was leery after reading some of the negative reviews that said it didnโt work. I figured for $10 why not try it out. That being said, the day before spraying it, I was in my yard and the flies and mosquitos where just starting to take flight all around. It was awful. The next day (after reading the forecast to make sure it was not going to rain for a few days), I waited until just before dusk to spray it (so my puppy had gotten all his wiggles out in the yard already). The 1 bottle pretty much covered my whole back yard (probably about a little more than half an acre). I loved the smell and had no reaction to it. The next day I took my puppy out in the yard and everyone noticed the mosquitos were gone!!! Totally gone, not one!! Nor any flies!!! The bees were still flying around unaffectedโphew, and my puppy had no reaction to walking around on the treated grass (mind you it was about 16 hours later when he stepped foot in the back where I treated the ground). The plants and bushes where fine and the wild rabbits seemed fine too. Furthermore, prior to me spraying, my dog brought in 2 ticks (that we know of), but since I sprayingโabout 2 weeks ago, there have been no tick sightings. Iโm not sure why this worked so well for my yard and yet has been no good for some people. I live in the North East of America and half of our yard is wooded. For the price, if you are not sure that itโs going to work, Iโd say itโs worth a try. For me Iโve decided while it lasts 3 weeks Iโll probably treat my yard twice per month for easier remembering when to do it.

Would recommend
This smells great and seems to work fairly well. The greasy film of the product doesn't last long on my dog and he hasn't gotten an irritation from using it so far. Would recommend.

Ok so 2017 was a terrible year for ticks in the Northeast
Ok so 2017 was a terrible year for ticks in the Northeast, usually this goes hand in hand with terrible mosquitoes and fleas as well. We had tons of rain and a very mild winter. So early spring I managed to pick up multiple ticks just walking across my lawn to garbage can about 50 ft every trip. I got a total of six stuck in me this way not to mention how many I caught. I got mad and bought this stuff sprayed the lawn. The 1st thing is the smell is fantastic neighbors walking their pets ask what was that wonderful smell. My cat and dog both seemed to like it and roll about in the lawn as well, maybe I did as well. (not sure if this was good or bad from pet safety prospective) I did this a total of 2 times and not 1 tick for the rest of spring, summer, and fall. Also in last 6 years the mosquitoes where always terrible we didn't notice them this year, live near a lake as well. As far as fleas go pets are treated with Advantix II for dogs and advantage for cats so can't really comment on flea control. However, anyone who thinks once you have a flea infestation this is going to help your barking up the wrong tree. Flee life cycle runs about 3/4 weeks and 95% of the flees in your home are eggs. Once you have them raid flea killer plus carpet and room works wonderfully to kill everything not on your pets. I used it on hardwood floors, carpeting and my sofas if needed. Better than a fogger in my opinion which gets on everything. Also make sure to vacuum works wonders as well. How you want to get rid of them off your pet if up to you. I like the advantix II and the advantage works better than frontline and once infestation is clear it stays clear if you apply it monthly. If you try to push it much more than a month you will get another flee infestation. Also if you have cats and dogs advantix II can be fatal to cats. So if your cats and dogs like to spoon avoid advantix II for dogs and try something else. Also don't mix the 2 up make sure you are putting advantage on your cat.

Nozzle problem
I was not happy with this product because I was not able to cover my backyard. The bottle states it covers 5,000sq. feet but I barely covered 500sq. Feet when it ran out. For some reason the nozzle was spraying the product out very fast. I like the smell and I was hoping to spray the yard and still have leftovers for two more applications.

Simply easy to administer
I like it better then CUTTER, but we all are so different. I've 5 dogs so I even take & hang on a very thick line, my duvet & cover, a stiff hand held brush, I stray the brush w/ Vet's Best, flick hard the excess, once & brush down on the hanging bedding grabbing all the hair, mine & the pups...the stuff those cute little paws brought in, the dust, parasites are flicked off abruptly, then leaving the slightly damping sheets & comforter out to dry & do its work...making them free & clean enough to have a restful sleep. Just one of the applications I've administered w/ Vet's Best. Nobody's bitting that night, for sure.
