GoPro AABAT-001 Camera Rechargeable Replacement Battery for HERO7 Black/HERO6 Black/HERO5 Black (GoPro Official Accessory)

A GoPro battery that held charge pretty good, even though my GoPro camera was hacked as soon as I put the battery in. Once I realized my camera was hacked, I noticed it got very hot and battery was depleted. It was charged100% when I put it in. It was a good battery, that lasted long and held charge allowing hackers to play with it, but for current price two batteries not one should be included. I bought it on Aug 10, 2017 for $15.99, today is Sunday, December 18th 2022 and it costs $39.95.

Works as intended in my hero 6 black. Haven’t found any aftermarket ones that that last as long. I own three GoPro Brand Batteries and Two Flyhi Brand ones (5 total) and this combo is perfect amount for using when I Travel. I usually only use the three GP batteries up but the flyhi ones are great for the really full days. The GP ones last for about an Hour of 4k 30 fps video and the FlyHi ones last around 53 min. If you take short videos 30 - 60 seconds and pictures they lasts much longer.( DONT leave the dead batteries in the camera when your are not using it!!!! It drains the batteries and can damage the camera after the battery reaches zero)

Did not work or fit my GoPro Hero 5.

A tad bit cheaper on Amazon with Prime shipping than it is on the GoPro website, this is the official battery for the GoPro HERO5 Black, supported by the most recent update. It works the same as the battery which shipped with the cam and charged in approximately 1 hour via the USB-C to USB cable included with the camera. While I've tried neither of the products below, you may also want to consider them. ➤ GoPro Dual Battery Charger + Battery (HERO5 Black) (GoPro Official Accessory) . Kind of spendy though, even with the extra battery. ➤ Powerextra Dual Battery Charger with USB Type C Cable for GoPro HERO5, HERO 5 Black which is much cheaper even when you buy a battery separately. It's specifically for the GoPro HERO5 Black batteries.

It's an OEM battery. Good, great, works. The only reason I deduct a star is because of the giant box for a tiny battery. Com'on GoPro. You can do better to help the environmental. I'm no tree hugger but seeing a box ten times the product size is unnecessary.

go pro hero 5 just came out recently, and it's hard to find extra batteries... the price on this is very reasonable, compared to what I seen on a couple other sites. UPDATE: I have purchased a second battery, to have with me just in case... I do recommend purchasing the gopro dual port Supercharger, it charges the batteries much quicker than the usb into the computer... Now, after testing this battery and the original, I found that recording video continuosly in 2K, 30frames per second, my battery lasted 1hr. 25min. before it showed only approx. 3min. left before it would shut off, it probably would last longer if I did not have other things going, like image stabilizer, etc... so being a battery that just came out..., this is probably where it should be... I would recommend this.

Bought a Hero 6 Black and thought I needed another battery. Okay, and extra battery is a good thing since I have not found a USB charger for them when out of long rides, where I often use a 12 watt solar panel to keep the camera batteries going. Little did I know that these batteries last a rather long time. Unless am camping out I should be okay. Although I am looking for a USB charger that I can use with personal solar panels. Good quality, and last a long time.

Man I've been so happy with how well these last overall compared to the batteries for the Hero 3. In the Hero 7 they have held a great charge in sub-zero temps and have allowed me to film for longer times than I have ever been able to with the Hero 3. Yea it might not be a fair comparison, but it's neat to see how far GoPro has come over the years with their cameras and batteries.

It's completely original product and good quality.Saw many negative reviews before ordering this product like battery drain early,not original product etc. I have tested this battery with my GoPro camera battery.The result is amazing. First I have charged fully my two battery .one which receive with go pro 7 black and order this one. My ho pro battery recorded 1.20 HR non stop recording where as another battery which purchase from Amazon recorded video Till 1.39 HR non stop...its works more then previous battery.i am happy with this product.Ghank you Amazon to provide me a quality vendor and product.
