Phillips sparkling water gas cylinder
These work very satisfactorily, with their spritzing machine.Sadly, I am unable to access a hardware store which will accept the empty cylinders in exchange for a full one (at a greatly reduced price), though they provide this service for other makes.Consequently, one is obliged to pay full price, from Phillips, and is left with a series of empty gas cylinders.This saddens me and, had I known this prior to buying their excellent machine I should have bought a different make.However, the machine and cylinders do work beautifully.

How can I exchange the empty cylinder for a full one ???
The product is very fit for purpose , easy to install and operate.I must however be able to exchange the empty cylinder for a full one otherwise how do you propose to dispose of the empty cylinder ???

Well, it's a serviceable gas cylinder
Obvs sodastream won't touch it but I've found a nice industrial gas company that happily refills any old cylinder for a reasonable price so that's fine! If sodastream wants to be annoying I'll buy a cheaper cylinder and get another gas supplier.

Avoid buying in UK
Impossible to get replacement gas bottles and not possible to exchange Philip's CO2 bottle for soda stream bottles (tho' interchangeable!).Not possible to access advice/ information centre! Philips soda water bottles are expensive nearly twice the price of Soda stream bottles! In short l'd strongly advise you to give this item a miss and go for a Soda stream! Plenty of outlets for CO2 bottles and bottles, etc ( Sainsbury's and Lakeland for example)! Wish l'd known better!
