Antique Black Ceiling Hooks for Hanging Cup Mug,1-1/4,20-Pack

I initially ordered 80 1 1/4 inch hooks for several DIY crafting projects only to realize after pulling them out of the package they were too big. I wanted to do an exchange for the smaller hooks but was told by Amazon they could not be returned/exchanged. I read all the rules pertaining to returns and couldn't find anything that applied to my order. VERY disappointed I reordered the required size and now have 80 larger hooks I'll probably never use. The hooks were supposed to be an antique bronze but look more like an antique black which are still beautiful and will fit my need for them. I wanted to give a lesser rating but can't justify it with it being Amazon's return/exchange policy on this particular merchandise.

While it does the job, this is not at all the color I ordered. I looked for bronze hooks and this what came up, but when I received the hooks, they were black. They were slightly more than the other black hooks, but I ordered them expecting bronze. They do the job though, so if you don't care about the color, these are good. I e-mailed the company and they did not respond.

These were perfect for my project. I spread these out by 1" on a 34" plank of wood. I used them to hang and organize necklaces. Great product. Thank you.

I would call them a nickel bronze as they are a bit more silverish, than brown, as far as bronze paint goes. Appear to be steel (magnetic) painted, large enough to hold large coffee mugs and soup mugs. Relatively soft metal, so pre-drilling a pilot hole is a must. I bent a couple tightening into soft douglas fir with too small a pilot hole. Hard to get shape back once you bend them. These are large hooks, so pre-drill. Even though they may go into soft pine, you risk splitting the wood. Still a good value over retail if you need more than a couple.

The antique look of these metal hooks was exactly what I needed for my antique house. The hooks are sturdy and easy to install—I tapped in a small pilot hole w/ hammer + small nail then screwed in the hook with my hand, easily done. A generous amount of 2-inch hooks for the money. It's a product I'm always finding uses for around the house, will certainly purchase again from this seller. Great product.

I ordered the 1/2 inch, rubbed bronze hooks for a necklace holder my husband made for me. They were the perfect size to hold my necklaces and I loved the rubbed bronze finish. The package came with a TON so we have a bunch left over for another project. Great quality!

These look gorgeous, and the 2" ones fit even my largest cups, which is really helpful. I have more hooks than cups now, so I've been using them to hang utensils and other things, for which they're also great.

These do not work for the original project. I wanted to return them and get a refund and a free return ship label but the free return ship label is not possible. Seller wants to charge $3.42 for shipping. I would rather find a different use for item or give away than pay for return ship.
