this is a heart warming/breaking book to read. i read it all in a sitting while in a room called the refection room at the san diego airport. it was a beautiful experience. the book is something of a poetic chronicle of a section of Noah's life and i thought it was kind of like a new way to write an autobiography. It got all the things across that autobio's usually try to get across but in less words and more effectively as well.all in all tho, this is a poetry book about love and what it did to Noah. its honest and well worth your ten dollars

An awesome collection of poetry from Noah Cicero. I don't have to pretend to like his work at all. He's a very good writer, and very good thinker. That's the essence of his poetry: He puts a lot of philosophy behind his words. For Noah, poetry isn't just pretty words and pictures; but something living and vital. Buy this book, you'll be happy you did. He'll make you see a world, you didn't even know was there. That is what all talented or great writers do.

This book hit the spot. It was good enough I feel like I would buy a beer for the author. The title is apt. I will definitely read it again.

Noah Cicero is a modern-day cowboy, roaming the vast prairies of mental illness, devastating relationships, eastern philosophy, and the strange ambiguity that accompanies contemporary life. He journeys through these areas, sometimes as a passive observer, and other times as a violent interloper. These poems paint him as a wanderer in every sense of the word: a literal tumbleweed drifting through familiar & unfamiliar landscapes and states of being. His journeys could be framed with classical references, yet are undoubtedly the modern story. To read this book is to accompany him, let him in, hear what he has to say, and send him on his way, off into the sunset.
