Solid construction. The chin guard is screwed onto the helmet body so it won't come off easily during a crash. Unlike other cheaper ones that are merely attached using tongue and groove. Chin guard still removable by unscrewing two screws. The sun visor is helpful during the summer but also removable if the kid needs more visibility and awareness while learning how to ride. The chin strap comes with a soft padded protector so no more pinching skin when buckling. Phew! The additional velcroed-on foam padding inside the helmet was not needed so we removed them easily. Striking blue color. Our 5 year old loves it. Time for some stunts. Recommended!

We got this for my 5 year old son to wear when riding his razor quad. He loves it and says it's very comfortable. It's very light but seems to be very safe. I consider it a great helmet if you want something safer than a skate helmet but don't need a full on dirt bike full face helmet. Color and build are great also.

We had low expectations for this helmet, we read about the minimal padding and odd sizing but my child was adamant this was what he wanted. I honestly almost bought a normal helmet just in case. Well it turned out to be better then we expected! There was ample padding, it fit my 6 year old well, the head circumference info was very helpful and accurate. It doesn't move around on his head, is nice and secure and he loves it!
