Shure Centraverse CVL Lavalier Condenser Microphone - Black

This mic works very well so far. It was plug and play. Sounds better then the original Sure mic. It is a little better on the high end of the spectrum then the old Sure183, it replaced. Will buy it again when another of the old mics fail. A very good value.

This mic works well for our main speaker's microphone in a church setting. No issues and great sound.

The microphone is a Shure product and works well. You need to be careful when removing the foam shield. The top of the microphone did snap off as my user gripped the foam shield to tightly. Otherwise, the microphone works well. The microphone unit snapped back on and was not damaged.

I'm a wedding DJ. This gets used with a BLX or SLX bodypack to mic the officiant when I'm providing audio for ceremonies. The omnidirectional pattern of this mic is PERFECT for this situation; it typically picks up the bride and groom reciting their vows if they are standing within a couple of feet of the officiant. Granted, it doesn't pick them up nearly as well as the officiant, but it does help enough so guests can hear the "I do's" through the speakers, and for this application I'd recommend this over the W93 or any other Shure lapel mic. Aside from the pickup pattern, the audio quality provided by this microphone is outstanding. I purchased another one of these along with a BLX14 wireless set for my church for my pastor's use to record Sunday morning teachings. When playing back recordings, you really get a chance to scrutinize audio quality, and this has exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, this mic is one of the cheapest of Shure's lapel mics! Shure never seems to disappoint.

I got this to use in my Focusrite 2i2 Gen3 Interface, and it didn't work. 48v on or off, there was nothing I could do to get it to work... which was disappointing. I wanted a condensor lavalier bc I thought it'd work perfectly with my setup. It doesn't. And now if I want to use the mic at all, I'll have to get another piece of equipment from Shure, since this mic has a proprietary plug at the end (not standard XLR or audio jack). That's on me for not doing enough research, and for not testing it soon enough to be able to return. Oh well. Maybe one day I'll get the other piece I need, try it out and update this review. For now, 3 stars, bc I literally have no idea about how well it works. Moral of the story: If you are getting this to use in a USB Interface, using an XLR adapter (I tried 2 different ones), don't. Don't waste your money, if you have the same intentions as I did. *Shure* would be cool if it did work though lol, since I've heard good things about the sound quality of these mics.

want a cheap lapel mic with clear audio, this is it, find record audio with out background noise has to be in a quiet place, although this is with most omni lapel, this thin although unidirection, operate more like omni. Only gripe is the head could be smaller.
