Check out the video on YT by Project Farm. PF did a torture test of 18 different adapters and the DeWalt adapters came out on top in nearly every test. What was apparent in the review by PF is Socket adapters with a thicker shank hold up better. I use these all the time at work and the Dewalt adapters hold up longer than any other brand. However, it's possible that you might get a dud that isn't very durable. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Value is the only downside..... because you might get more bang for your buck from buying OffBrand adapters with a thicker shank in bulk. The only advice I can give here is avoid Socket Adapters with a thin shank like the plague. The shock rated claim is bogus and these thinner shank adapters will often break when they're challenged.
