Replacement upgrade Audio Cable For Audio-Technica ATH-R70x Professional headphone 1.2m/4FT

I bought this cable because the stock cable is way too long, and other replacements cost at least twice as much. It feels sturdy enough, and I am pretty gentle with my equipment. I expect they'll last.

Works alright, not the highest quality out there so it will break after some usage but so did the OEM stock cable so what can you expect

These worked fine as replacements, but unfortunately died after only 5 months. It's a shame that these are so unreliable, but there aren't a whole lot of options out there since AT refuses to stock these cables.

Nice looking and sturdy cable, but not wired correctly. The stock Audio Technica cable is wired in such way that it doesn't matter which 2.5mm connector goes to which ear. But with this cable it does matter. So as long as you take time to figure out which 2.5mm connector goes to which side, you are OK. But, you can end up with the Left and Right swapped like I did at first, before I realized that the familiar songs sound wrong.

My ATH-R70x are my favorite studio monitoring headphones. However, I’ve been puzzled by the cheap stiff cable they came with. Found this one and I’m very impressed. Great build quality and flexible. It doesn’t hurt that it looks great too. I also like that it’s shorter than OEM cable. It’s about 1/3 the length.

Original cable was ungainly for stationary listening. Quality of the fittings was an unexpected benefit: almost jewel-like and thoughtfully designed to protect the braided cable, the headphones, and the amplifier: in all, very well executed.

They do their job, and they definitely save me from having to buy an entirely new set of headphones since it's always just this cable that goes out and nothing else. This is my 3rd cable set, so my second time buying these replacements. Both previous cables have lasted for about 11 months before one ear starts having problems and eventually stops working.Would be five stars if they lasted for multiple years, especially for the $27.00 price tag.

I bought this cable twice and both times it only lasted 6 months. The Y joint in the middle of the cable keeps failing and I lost audio in one ear.This is much less durable than I was expecting. I would not recommend this cable should an alternative ever become available.
