Its simplistic design means that the facts really hit home and give the reader space and time to let them land. The child- friendly language used is tone perfect. It informs without condescending and it explains the science/ information in a really funny manner that I know for a fact kids will regurgitate to anyone that will listen! The illustrations are absolutely on par, if not not more so than the insightful content, the characters really ‘pop’ and the expressions you have managed to capture? *Chef’s kiss*. The entire book is a factual, funny delight and I am now immediately on my way to order the entirety of the Disgusting Critters series… (Elise: My offer of joining the O.D.D.C will remain open with no expiration time limit- I am a patient, immortal Witch after all!) Review: One of the best kids books that I have seen in a while! - This book is a well written, easy to read and fun book for kids to learn about bats! Many children’s books are poorly written with little to no actual content… I love that this book includes A LOT of great information about bats, like their size, different types of bats, where they live and it even teaches kids about echolocation! This book is the perfect gift for a new reader who loves animals. It made reading fun with its cute graphics and my kids learned something after reading the book. Would strongly recommend and will look to the buy more from the series. Well done

One of the best kids books that I have seen in a while!
This book is a well written, easy to read and fun book for kids to learn about bats! Many children’s books are poorly written with little to no actual content… I love that this book includes A LOT of great information about bats, like their size, different types of bats, where they live and it even teaches kids about echolocation! This book is the perfect gift for a new reader who loves animals. It made reading fun with its cute graphics and my kids learned something after reading the book. Would strongly recommend and will look to the buy more from the series. Well done

A wonderful book!
Another wonderful book from this series. My animal loving kids love these books. They like the fact they are full of useful information, funny and unique animals.

Love these!
I bought my kids all of these books after receiving the slug book as a gift. They love all of them and request one almost nightly (they’re 4 & 6 for reference). Very cute and educational!

Very damaged
I ordered this book along side many others. All arrived in the same box, none of the others were damaged. This one has cuts/rips almost directly through the whole book. Very disappointed.
