Good guide, very helpful

I like maps because they help me put things in context. These folding laminated travel maps are COMPACT -- you are trading ease of viewing and details for compactness. This particular laminated folding map gives you a good overview of all five boroughs of New York in a very small format so not a lot of detail. I find it useful it in conjunction WITH the more detailed Streetwise map of whatever area of New York City I happen to be visiting that day (Manhattan, Brooklyn, etc). If you need a lot of detail I suggest a full-sized paper map or looking at an area online.

It has helped me enormously with my sense of direction and navigating Manhattan. The map is detailed and gives you a breakdown of Manhattan but stops at 127th Street and fails to include the whole of Harlem and Washington Heights. Still a good map for the price and is convenient to carry.

Great Map, can't wait for our trip to New York City to put this to use. We have been before but with this map we will save time finding our way around.

Highly recommend for a trip to NYC. I used this as part of a gift after I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday. I used it to put little marks at places we would be seeing. It’s nice to be able to see where streets are compared to landmarks. It was a blessing, since sometimes your phone doesn’t work or have service in the city. Loved this!

This map was a major help in planning and enjoying our recent weekend get-a-way to NYC!

It is a great looking map. It's laminated and very informative for a small map. My critique is that some important names missing form the map of Queens and Brooklyn. Names such as: Woodside, Corona, Ozone Park, Ridgewood, Elmhurst and Hunter's Point in Queens. Also missing: eastern part of Long Island that are still significant for Queens Borough, like: Douglaston, Little Neck; Clinton Heights, Crown Heights and Eastern parkway in Brooklyn. I think these missing landmarks are still important for people visiting New York City.
