this is a terrific, high quality and VERY grippy pad! ... specifically (all pros); • thin, yes, but, adequate thickness to protect your rug from wear, without being too thick, which can be hazardous for the elderly or foot-draggers, especially if you are utilizing it under a thick rug. our's is utilized wit a 3x5 at the front door foyer, where there is very little clearance from the bottom of the front door to the foyer floor... as such, we required a thin pad that is no more than 1/8" thick... and, this fit the order perfectly! :-) • nice, comfortable cushion, despite the thinness, and protects the carpet from wear very well, which is anticipated for years. • durability; very good... heavy, daily usage for almost 6 months and zero signs of wear or compression... excellent! • pad was received moderately cut just under 3'x5', so there is no trimming required to ensure no pad shows... but, it still provides full 3x5 rug protection....an excellent feature and time saver! ... first time that i did not need to trim pad, so it did not show! • zero slippage; given that it gets a lot of traffic in the foyer, there is absolutely no movement, either between the rug and pad or the pad and floor. it is like it is all tacked down! normally, the rug and pad are sliding about or the rug is sliding off the pad... with this pad, those issues do not exist, as, once again, it has superb non-slip against both the floor and rug. | note - we often receive queries as to whether it is tacked or taped down... it is just "that grippy"! | lastly, there are absolutely no "cons" to this rug pad... it is excellent, in every way, and we will only be purchasing this brand, for future purchases. exceptionally pleased, Thank you. :-)

These worked PERFECTLY! They're Thicker than the cheap ones and our rugs have not slid on the floor at all!! These are truly different than the cheaper ones and worth paying for for something that doesn't slide!! I originally had the thinner non-slip pads under my rugs and they would scare us while walking because the rugs would slide forward and not even grip the floor! I took a look under my sister's rugs because hers do not slide and she had a thicker version that was more filled in (not so much space in between the little "puffs") and you could tell they didn't cheat in the process. This particular non-slip pads that I bought were the same ones my sister had that were puffier and thicker and they do not slide unless we get too much dirt underneath the padding. So, with that said, I recommend that you vacuum underneath the padding at least every couple of full house vacuuming.

This rug pad was used under a thicker, heavier rug in front of my kitchen sink. My rug has a rubber backing but slides around every time it is stepped on. My dogs would send that rug sliding across the hardwood floor. I ordered a slightly larger rug pad and trimmed it to fit the size of my rug. Since placing the rug pad under the rug, it has not moved. The dogs jumped all over it and it didn't budge. This is fantastic because that rug was an accident waiting to happen. It was time to either fix the problem or get rid of the rug. Purchasing a new rug wasn't the answer and the rug pad was a more economical solution. Today I ordered this rug pad for a lighter weight runner rug. Hopefully it will work well for this situation also because anything that slides around under your feet is potentially dangerous.

I wanted a thin pad so that this lightweight area rug would not rise too high ant its edges and trip people. I also needed good friction with our tile floor to not have the rug wrinkle or bunch up and trip people. I took a chance on this one, and it worked out perfectly. The size was as advertised and I only had to trim the length to fit our rug. Ordinary scissors did fine. Problem solved, with a non-slipping rug now.

This was a perfect fit for a small runner in the front hallway that otherwise had the potential to put you on your butt as you came in the front door. Works very well and could not be simpler to use - just put it down and put rug on top. I have 3 or 4 of these in the house - the oldest one is now about 4 years old and going strong, so these are a good solution for the price.

I am disappointed to tell you that these did not stop my rugs from slipping, which was my intent when I bought them. They are soft and it seems well-made, but they're not doing the job that I bought them for. If you need adhesion, this is not the right carpet pad.

As described. *** READ THE DIMENSIONS CAREFULLY _ ACTUAL SIZE IS A FEW INCHES LESS - BOTH WIDTH AND LENGTH. *** --- It DOES read in the description that the measurement is slightly smaller than the rug size it's intended for. --- *** 7' X 10' (84" X 120") is actually 78" X 116". *** *** Heavy chemical smell when the package is first opened. Seems to dissipate fairly quickly. Fortunately, I WON'T be putting this in the living room. *** Similar feel and appearance to Tool Box Drawer Liner, but not quite as heavy. *** Cut is straight / square corners. Easy to trim with scissors using only the grid / pattern as a guide. *** Thickness is appx 1/16", so it will provide more grip than cushion. *** Apply this to a CLEAN FLOOR - dust or dirt will compromise it's grip to a bare floor. I bought this for grip - to go under a carpet on a concrete floor with moderately heavy weight / traffic expected. It "should" hold up without issue. I'll update this review in the future if the product exceeds or falls below expectations.

Gran tamaño, me sirvió para una alfombra en la sala y un tapete pequeño para mi cuarto y todavía me sobró producto. Yo opté por pegarlo a la alfombra con pegamento para telas y sirvió perfecto. This is NOT a cheap, thin, widely spaced mesh that may give you a bit of non slip functionality. It's thick, a decent underlay, stops slippage and also helps with adding a layer of insulation to the floor. I used the same type when I was living abroad and regard it as money well spent. Recommend a purchase if you want a quality product that actually will last and do a good job.

Two Bull Terriers play on our new 9x12 carpet with this underlay. They play, run around, chew toys, etc and carpet stays in place. No smell and fit exactly. Happy with purchase.

We were concerned about slippage accidents and so fought shy of buying rugs to put on our hard floors. The rooms looked so sparse though, so we decided to experiment with rugs in one room. I looked at all sorts of anti-slip mats but this one stood out. The reviews were good and it looked good quality. A year on and with no accidents, we bought more rugs and have used this product again. Those rugs are going nowhere. The grip is wonderful. Our home now looks nice and cosy!
