Excellent awning!
I bought the smaller 4 foot awning years ago and it held up great. Loved the small footprint as I prefer to keep my setups from getting ridiculous like some circus setup. But it was too small to enclose for winter camping, no room to cook and such. Then I saw the All-Top awning rooms and at $200 I could not even make something cheaper if I wanted. So I had to upgrade to a larger awning if I wanted the room and thus I did. It is a bit trickier setting up solo than the smaller one, but the build is still great for the price. My only dislike is the orange accents of the plastic bits. I know, tiny thing. But I like all my stuff to blend into nature. I am also not a fan of the plastic pole hinges. The WHOLE reason I bought the smaller one years ago was because it had metal hinges and that is a rare thing to find. So I sure hope these plastic hinges hold up as they give you no spares. Although I am sure All-Top would send a set if mine broke. Being a larger awning always make sure you give it some slope to shed rain. A big storm can bring any awning down. In fact for winter camping I bought an extra set of poles and made some loops to go around the horizontal rods so they don't flex down under load. The size, being 6.6' x 8.2', is probably as small as you want to go for two people if you get the room kit with this. Once you have a chair, table and cooking setup there is not much room left under the awning. And I really recommend getting at least one side panel if you will ever been in rain/wind. Makes a massive difference.

Highly recommend
This is my first time setting up both awnings on my home built TearDrop camper. They set up so easy and it took me about 15 minutes for 2 awnings, the side tent, and 1 of 2 side walls. They appear to be very sturdy and the material is heavier than expected. The mounting hardware was unfortunately useless in my case because I neede the additional height and durability so I made my own custom mounting brackets. Once the awning is fully set up, it is very stable. I do not see wind being a problem once properly secured. The only potential issue I see will be the life span of the cam lock poles and the orange plastic “hinges” that attach the poles to the awning. So far I highly recommend. The canopy looks great and almost triples my “living” space. This is HUGE when camping in a teardrop camper Only gave 4 stars due to the plastic hinges.

Perfect for overlanding and car camping
I love this awning. I was eyeing the ARB, but it was just out of my price range. When I found the ALL-TOP and found out that it also has an awning room, I jumped on it. My wife doesn't like to camp as much as I do so when I'm overlanding, I definitely use the awning for shade and to setup my cooking station. BUT... if my wife and the kids come along, my wife enjoys the option of staying in the awning room so she doesn't have to climb down at night to use the restroom. It's definitely a win-win. This awning also withstood the wind test. We've taken it out twice in 40-50 mph winds with the awning alone and with the room setup. It performed flawlessly. I will say, I borrowed a hack I found on youtube and made some extra supports that you can see in the photos. They definitely helped during those high winds.

POOR QUALITY!!!!
We bought this for our overland adventures and were looking forward to sharing a good quality affordable review with our YouTube audience. Unfortunately, that will not be the review we give! The poles are absolute garbage and made from the cheapest materials that go from the roof to the end. The leg poles are just as bad and poorly designed and made from cheap materials. They snapped in 10mph winds rendering this setup useless!!! You cannot even get replacement poles because they are still unavailable for the 8.2 ft awning. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand because All-Top is car from a quality product like they claim!!!!!

Quality materials. Poor mounting options
Well built product. But can’t mount to roof baskets like Yakima that only have cross-slats and no lateral slats. Must be heavily modified to function
