Can you take these off ?

Of course! You can point a hair-blow-dryer at the the adhesive while gently peeling it away from the cabinet at an angle. You can also use dental floss in a sawing motion to cut off the adhesive as well.

Do you have the option of screwing these on?

Yes, there are holes available for screwing. However, they're not included with our product.

Can these be temporarily deactivated (locking the latch open) like others that are similar design but which are too short for our cabinets?

Sorry, the latches cannot be temporarily deactivated and reactivated again.

Is the 3m adhesive latex free? (Natural rubber free)

The cabinet latches came with two sided adhesive tape already on them. All you have to do is peel the paper.
