Works great for the new cans! Taps that came with my gauges didn't work well with new cans like it was supposed to.

Sealed when others leaked
I had a different self-sealing R-134a tap and it ended up puncturing the can. Not sure how but very disappointing (and yes I checked it was self-sealing tap). This one has been great--used it to recharge using a couple cans and was able to remove it when complete.
