Really nice tool for the money.
This is s very nicely done tool and rolling carrying case to go with it. For the odd job on the farm this fits the bill. I recommend it. No problems so far. It is heavy, but then that is the nature of a jack hammer and its tasks. A good buy.

Unbelievable pound for pound one of the best purchases ever made
I live in Puerto Rico, so thereโs very few things that they will ship here. A lot of companies do not have sales tax agreements with Puerto Rico. Nor do they want to pay the extra amount of shipping cost because of the weight to ship here. I gotta tell you. After opening the box. Seeing the quality. Seeing how heavy duty. And I used it to break up some concrete on my back patio. I gotta tell you dollar for dollar pound per pound, and they shouldโve charged twice as much. Itโs just that nice. So if youโre looking for a jackhammer at a great price, donโt look any further. Now Iโm sure this isnโt something that if youโre a commercial company you could probably use every day at 365 days a year. Only because I havenโt used it that much. But this will be worth every single dime that you paid for it. Iโve used it six times now and wow, it does not let me down.

Great breaker so far!
I had a 60 year old pier footer under my house that someone just dug a hole and poured concrete all haphazardly. I thought it would be around 4 or 5 inches thick at most, like the other's I've excavated. But nope, this one was closer to 8 on the chunkiest part. But I was able to get it all broke up in about 30 minutes. The tool handles very well, much better than my last one which didn't have the shock absorbing springs. My hands were in much better shape by comparison. It's 40 pounds so expect it to be heavy. Size is about the same as my old hitachi hammer. Came with two bits, a breaker bit, and a chisel bit. Both look like they're made from softer steel and not hardened steel like professional grade bits, but the breaker bit performed as expected. Carrying case is junk which lost a star, the hinges are plastic with thin metal rods, if you can even call them that. But I've got my old Hitachi metal Case still, and these tools aren't too different in size. Plastic case was broken on one hinge and later the other as I got the tool out. No oil or grease leaks! Which is normal for this kind of tool, but the 40 pound uses ONLY grease. I'm used to most having a viewport and a reservoir of oil and a wick. Most tool repair videos show the repairmen greasing every moving part, so maybe this is the new standard. The chuck or bit mount is fine. I'm used to the twist lock, which this pull chuck wins out over not being confusing. With the twist lock, you can't tell if it's locked or not, or if your bit has taken too much of a beating and is mushroomed out and stuck. But with this pully version, it's more obvious whether it's locked or not. The cord seems undersized for the amount of power needed. And I was discouraged to see it was a 2 prong plug and not a 3. I know the 3rd is just a ground, but the tool did get hot pretty fast, even with taking a break every 5 to 10 minutes for cleanup.

Affordable BEAST!
This thing is an absolute beast! I had a problem with trigger sticking on the unit but Amazon sent another one promptly - I could not say enough good things about this jack hammer! Itโs amazing! Itโs heavy but it went berserk on my concrete pilings. It broke anything I threw at itโฆ

Heavy piece of machinery!
I've used this tool for a few different project so far, and it is a beast. Seems well built and just keeps working and working on whatever you're trying to break up. I'm so glad I didn't get the vertical-only jack-hammer, because being able to use this thing at an angle can be extremely useful. It worked on a 6-inch concrete driveway and a boulder that we dug up in the yard. It does take some control and strength to keep the machine pointed in the right angle as it pounds away. You certainly need to be physically in good shape and have upper body strength to wield this tool effectively.

performs well for a quarter the price
my buddy lent me his 90 pound $1500 m*kita jack hammer. it was a bit heavy for me. so for less than a quarter the price i got this jack hammer that was half the weight. so far it performs as well as the m *kita and is easier for me to use. clearly they copied the m*kita design down to the color. they have come up to speed with their cheap copies. good for me bad for m*kita.
