A rather small round softgel is easy to swallow and that is really the standard I can review. This particular product by Life Extension includes both Saffron AND Astaxanthin, the latter being very important (years prior, for a short time, I'd taken a different Macugard-like product from Life Extension that lacked Astaxanthin, but was cheaper). I started taking this particular version recently after a surgery for a macular tear more as a healthy way to, hopefully, strengthen the macula and prevent future issues. (Though I've learned it is pulling by the shrinking vitreous fluid that leads to tears or holes, I hope a stronger macular surface will help prevent it - I've not verified this definitely will do it with my doc, but he did not have any issue with me using it when looking over my supplement list.) I can always depend on this brand as being trustworthy. My eyesight has improved and noticed the difference when reading. As far as night driving, it's hard to tell with LED glares and weather. I had no issues with taking this as far as stomach, headaches, or feeling out of sorts.

I've ordered these several times. I think they help my eyes not feel so tired and irritated by the end of the day.

Buy this for myself and my mom. Our eyes needs protection. The reason to pick this product is because of the ingredients, it just has all right fit for eye health.

I started taking these supplements on advice of my eye doctor. The brand he recommended was too expensive and this supplement ranked as the number one alternative. Excellent affordable alternative.

My Opthomologist says I have been doing fine and better than most my age (76)...said keep doing what I'm doing with my supplements...I also use Zeazanthin and other supplements for eyes...BUT Life Extension is one of my go to companies for many other supplements, indicated to me by an outstanding health coach/advisor.

The description says 2 bottles (60x2) but only one bottle (60x1) is sent. I like the product but fix the wrong description please.

Excelente vitamina para nutrir la mácula

I have used Life Extension products in the past and they are all good. My only concern with this one is that its price is marked up way too high (from its original price on amazon dot com).
