How's the battery life on this watch?

Bought one for the wife in 4-2000. It just now went kaput!. Won't hold charge, then wouldn't charge at all. Warranty outdated, unfortunately. Not sure if this is normal life span; but watch was very well taken care of, and only in a wet situation in the shower/sink/swimming pool. Worked perfect other than when it quit......Going to buy another just like it!

Do I have to have a account like Fitbit that charges me money?

No, you can download a customized app from Google Play and App store, it's free for you to have a account.

Can I shower and go to the swimming pool with the watch?

Mine died after a couple of days of off and on soaking in 104 degree hot springs. Every watch I looked at as a replacement has a warning about hot water, saunas...but this one didn't. I had showered with it dozens of times without a problem and gone swimming in cooler water a number of times.

Can the gps let a family member know whete i am if i get lost?

Unfortunately no, the GPS is just so it tracks your steps/workout but you can't actually see that info

No after sale customer service available in Chennai

Please don't buy this watch. No after sales service is available. I bought this watch in March 24. In july 24. Ir doesn't work and also not charging. When contact fitpolo they said you have not buy through our shop. You bought it from some seller name. But I bought it only in Amazon. So it is waste of money to buy this product which cannot provide after sale service
