I just purchased this replacement strap and I was wondering how do you remove the strap pin safely without damaging the computer?

Each side is attached with a push pin. Remove the old pins by using a pointy object (like a nail or something solid enough that won't bend) and push it in from one side until it pushes through and out the other side. The object used should be a bit smaller diameter than the pin in the strap. My husband and I both replaced ours last year.

I read it will fit the luna, but the strap looks different from my luna strap. pls explain. thanks!
