Great product easy to install and waterproof.
Works great I was able to install it on my Pelican case that has my ham radio equipment in it. I have been outside when it was raining and with the lid of my case closed and the cap to the power plug closed there was no water in the case. I have not submerged the case but I hope that doesn’t happen in general.

I should’ve done this a long time ago
I wish I would’ve switched to these years ago. They are so much far superior to your typical cigarette lighter connector. I used them for my ice coat ice chest in the back of my truck and in my trailer they are awesome. Now when I’m bouncing down the road, I don’t have to worry about my connection coming undone.

Works great. Fits Cllena power panel great.
A little pricey but works great. I didn’t really need the 12v cigarette plug that came with the cllena power bank so I replaced it with the power pole receptacle. It fit great! I used a rubber o ring to space it off the panel slightly so the rubber cap would have enough space to close securely.

Great connectors
I really like these powerpole connectors. I use them for several things. These were easy to install, and had no problems. They work great. I only have two minor gripes. A) With modern technologies, you can get other connectors that perform similar functions for a lot cheaper. Don't get me wrong, these are better and more versatile. One can look at it as you get what you pay for (great design and ease of use with durability), or you can look at cost. B) This is listed as 45Amps and only supporting 12 AWG wire. It would be more appropriate to sell these with 10AWG connectors. REASON: reseller cost difference between 30a and 45a connectors is nominal, and for any application, total distance from power source to "device" needs to be considered. Since 12AWG is only rated for 20 amps (less than 1/2 of the 45a connector rating), it would require an extremely short end-to-end wire run for that to be safe; so short in fact that it would not be practical for most applications. Summary: In short, great equipment. I only downgraded my rating from a 5 to a 4 because I feel the 12AGW connector is only good for 20-30 amps. Meaning in order to advertise this as a 45amp connector, the connector should support the wire sizes that are required for those (45a) currents for reasonable applications.

Great design!
PowerPole connectors are becoming the new standard in amateur radio for 12vdc equipment because they are so easy to install and allow such easy disconnection, move around equipment, take mobile, take/ setup outside on picnic table in backyard or local park. In club events it’s common to swap equipment around for others to get a feel for rigs they may be thinking about up-grading. But until now there hasn’t been a two sided PowerPole that was designed to mount on a portable ‘GoBox’ (grab & go heavy duty case with ham radio equipment already setup inside, sometimes with Lion battery already inside to immediately be ready. But we needed a thru the case PowerPole connection (on inside & outside) for both charging and/or attaching external power sources… solar panels, car battery, 120vac to 12vdc power supply. THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN NEEDED!

Worked well in very harsh conditions
Used in a DIY power station to connect to a pair of 12-volt refrigerators. Worked flawlessly in very harsh conditions including blowing dust and 100-degree F temperatures. Can find cheaper alternatives to Powerwerx products, but for mission-critical connections, I do not try to save a few dollars. Fit perfectly in the Powerwerx PanelPlateSB3, but can also work without a bezel.

Awesome device, a definite learning curve.
First time using this, the learning curve was steep but doable. If you buy this and cannot get the pigtail (or wire) to click, check your crimping, it has zero tolerance of oval or oblong crimps. A ferrule crimper worked best for me. Also feel free to buy more contacts, it only comes with exactly 4, so no mistakes can be made.

Good quality, but amazingly overpriced.
The fit and finish on these are perfect, and they are easy to work with. At $7.99 they would be worth it, at $26 each, I feel like I'm being taken to the cleaners.
