This smart plug does exactly what it’s supposed to do—reliable, easy to set up, and works perfectly with multiple devices around the house. The energy monitoring feature is really useful, especially if you want to keep track of usage. The app is simple and responsive, making it easy to control everything remotely or set schedules. One thing to note—if you’re planning to get more than one, it’s definitely cheaper to buy the multipacks rather than a single plug. Much better value overall. Simple, effective, and budget-friendly. Highly recommended!

Brilliant! I had to Google how to set device ip after getting the app sorted, but it was a doddle and everything worked first time. So flexible - either routine scheduling or ad hoc with a countdown timer to turn off again.

I have 10 of these Tapo P110 plugs. They are easy to set up and the integration with Alexa is spot on. The app is easy enough to use, although it doesn't calculate the energy costs correctly though! The issue I have at the moment is that the two I use the most (the majority are on items that only get turned on once or twice a week at most) stopped working and won't turn off the power to the attached device. Both the plug led and the status in the Tapo app show that it is turned off, and you also get the click sound from the relay inside the plug, however, the power at the device remains on. I have found that banging the plugs against a solid surface seems to get them working again. I did try tapping them first but that didn't work, although it was nowhere near as hard as when I banged them against something! I have also had one plug go offline for no apparent reason, which resulted in me having to move the affected item out of the way (washing machine) and manually press the button on the side which sorted it immediately. Only happened once thus far, so fingers crossed as I really don't want to be moving the washing machine in and out on a regular basis. Because of the above, I have to question the reliability and durability of the devices. Just hope that the others don't start displaying the same behaviour. Overall, not a bad buy for the price, but buy a spare!!!
