My husband complained that our standard 13 gallon kitchen trash can didn’t hold enough. He is the one who takes out the trash - so I started looking for a larger trash can that would work in the space we have. Our home is under 150” sq ft, so a huge trashcan just wasn’t an option. This is perfect. It’s taller than our old one but still slim enough that it works in a regular kitchen - even though it says ‘commercial’. My only complaint is that if you are trying to open the lid while sitting down - or from above it - you can’t. The lid has no lip or knob to allow you to raise the lid without using the foot lever.
