I need to cut a patron bottle near the bottom less than an inch. Doesnt look like the jig will work for this. Is that correct?

I haven't tried to cut a square bottle but I don't think it would work. Genround is designed to rotate the bottle around the cutting edge so I don't see how it would cut a square bottle. But if you try it, and it works let me know. Hope this helps.

I do not know, I've only used it on wine and liquor bottles. It works well on them.

Fait ce qu'il dit, mais doit peser très fort et utiliser de l'eau bouillante et glacé en alternance à plusieurs reprises pour fisurer le verre. Ne permet d'ajuster a toute les grandeurs de bouteilles. Bien pour faire des verres.

For square bottles you have to take it apart and use some parts. For the usual round it does well. The bottle stop is a little weak, so you have to use care to not slide the bottle while cutting.
