Odyssey Battery ODX-AGM65 Extreme Series AGM Battery

First of all this battery is a beast, I have tried multiple batteries from different companies and stores. None of them did the job this battery is an absolute amazing product keeps my vehicle charged all the time. I don’t have to worry about dying or not starting in the mornings I live in Florida. I don’t have to deal with cold, but I have a Race truck and that needs all the power that it can give me absolutely highly recommended product great seller. It was fast shipping thank you.

Very well made. A lot heavier ( weight ) than the battery I replaced in my 2019 F250. Reviews were very good is the main reason I went with this one.

A significant purchase value. Very low static discharge rate, all weather performance, and great for standby or live generator use even under extreme environmental conditions. Spins my Ford Diesel truck 7.3 and 6.0 engines like a top after years of use. Trucks sometimes not used for 3 months. Always spin up with ease.

Pricey but the best battery money can buy.

Had high hopes for this very expensive AGM. I take good care of my vehicles and don't mind getting top quality parts for them. After install, my 95 Bronco fired right up and everything seemed great. Car sat for a couple weeks as it's a weekend car. On a Sunday I decided to go for a drive. After 20 minutes, stopped for gas and the car would not start after filling up. Engine barely cranked. Maybe half a turn at best. Hmmm? Gas station employee brought out a jump box and the car started and died within a second or two. Tried starting again and nothing. Not even a click. Got my car towed home. Bought a battery tester, said battery was dead, replacement recommended. Decided to try charging but after several hours on an AGM battery charger, same result, not even a click. That was it. Decided to return the battery, but seller said too much time had passed and it wasn't eligible for normal return. Impossible to do through Amazon order management page. Seller said to ship it (at my cost) back for credit. After $147 bill at the post office, the battery is going back. Do not buy this battery, and don't buy automotive batteries through Amazon. If you have a problem, you might have a similar surprise. Buy local, much easier to deal with. Went to Costco and bought a normal lead acid flooded battery for $123. Less than return shipping cost for the Odyssey. Live and learn, never again! Very frustrating and expensive experience.

At the beginning I was hesitant due to the high price compared with other AGM and conventional batteries. I was replacing the original Motorcraft battery that was just 3 years old in my 2023 F350. My other car has an OEM AGM that is still going strong after 10 years thus I decided to make the jump and pay almost an extra $200 in comparison with standard flooded batteries. The judgement is still out on duration, ask me again in 3 years, but my truck starts without hesitation and it cleared a lot of the codes I was getting with the older battery.
