Great for facial moisturizer/toner
I haven’t seen any noticeable results from drinking this yet but, it’s made a huge difference topically. I dilute it with fresh aloe and apply it at night after cleansing my face and it moisturizes, tones, brightens, and even clears the wrinkles on my face! My mom stopped wearing makeup altogether because it’s helped clear her face up so much. We’ve only used it for a few weeks now but, it’s already made a big difference. I’m not sure if it’s the aloe or the houttuynia cordata that’s more effective. Either way, it makes for a great combination.

helps with bartonella
Not sure how it stacks up to other brands or formulas of this herb because it is the first time i've ever taken houttuynia, but this has worked well for me to help treat bartonella. I can feel a clear difference in the neuropathy & other unpleasant sensations in my feet shortly after taking it. I don't notice any immediate relief in head pain after taking this, but after a few months (as part of my bart protocol, following what buhner recommends) the headaches & rage I was experiencing have lessened some. I am re-ordering and will stick with this brand, but am getting the alcohol based tincture this time as I want to compare effectiveness. edit 11/26/18- the alcohol tincture is also good. I feel like both are very effective. Going to stick with this brand from now on as I recently bought a generic version from an etsy seller and it doesn't seem to help my foot pain symptoms at all.

Wonderful herb but beware of oxalate content
I have had great results with Houttuynia cordata. However, be aware it has a high oxalate content which can contribute to the formation of kidney stones.

Don’t recommend this
I can tell it’s not working after just one day in comparison with the other tincture I was using. Very disappointing.

Smells heavily of metal.
The package says free of heavy metals but this tincture smells like metal. As the herb origin is from China, anything really goes as to why this smells so strongly of metal. I'm concerned it's not safe to consume.
