LUOLAO Marble Mortar and Pestle Set, Pill Crusher, 3.7 Inch, 1/2 Cup

This is a quality item. I was amazed at how heavy and well made it was. It's a great addition to my kitchen.

Item was as described and arrived on time.

I have to crush two pills for my dog every meal, one is larger than a quarter And the other is a normal pill size but also thick. I was using my fingers to break them up before and then when that couldn't get it small enough. I was using scissors to cut it down. I tried putting them in a plastic bag and smashing them with the hammer, I tried a different screw down pill crusher. Nothing worked very well, this thing works like a charm and gets the job done very quickly. Since this is the only thing I use it for, I'm not worried about the pills or the leftover dust getting impregnated into anything else and it works really well and crushes everything down very very quickly and easily. I strongly recommend this to anybody who asked you to crush pills more than once a day.

Had concerns at first about product fragility based on feedback from other customers. The product arrived with no damage and has held up fantastically and is able to crush and grind even the toughest pills for my elderly parent. If you have someone in need who has difficultly swallowing pills and are tried of cheap off the shelf pill grinding that are a pain to clean, then I can't recommend this product enough.

This does a great job of crushing pills. The fact that the two sides are the same size makes so it is really easy to capture a round pill. And the two hemispheres are a very close match to the result is a nice fine powder. What i don't like about it, and it would be easy to add, is a spout-like indentation for pouring out the crushed contents without any spilling where it should not. For spices, this does not matter, but for pills the measured dosage is important and you don't want to miss any of it. The marble is soft (for a stone) and i will probably add my own spout with a diamond bit and a dremel.

Expensive compared to other brands, but more than worth it. The unique mushroom style works quickly and completely. I have had several different mortar and pestles, this one beats them all for grinding pills which is why I purchased mine.

Great quality and is exactly as I thought, however the whole dynamic of the bowl makes using it hard. I cannot crush anything properly.

This thing crushed my dogs hard pills to dust in a twist. I love it. It is not only functional but beautiful. Substantial in weight. The price is definitely worth it. Better than the cheaper ones I have bought in the past. The pestle is very large and you wont be messing around with trying to get it on the pill. It crushes it with ease. This will be the last one I ever buy.
