Genuine LG AKB73975702 SMART LED HDTV REMOTE CONTROL Replaces AKB74475401, AKB73975701 & AGF76631042

I have a 2015 LG 60UF7700 TV that had one of those roller ball, computer mouse-like controls in the middle of it. No surprise, it stopped working, rendering the entire remote and, therefore, the TV unusable (it had gotten stuck on an input that wasn’t connected to anything). TL;DR: I needed to replace my remote for a 10 year old TV that otherwise worked fine. This item is inexpensive, required no set up (except putting batteries in - two AAA batteries), and worked fine. Far less expensive than replacing the tv. Score against planned obsolescence!

Ordered this as a replacement after the batteries in the original one with TV purchase leaked and corroded the connection spots. Tried cleaning with alcohol but old remote did not work anymore. Hoping to get many years use out of this items.

This remote is compatible with my TV, I just had to press the power button and it works automatically. It looks almost the same as my old remote except a couple of buttons have been moved or painted differently. It's made well and is a great price.

Its a replacement plain and simple. Not an exact copy but damn close for my LG tv

I have the 2012 LG Cinema Screen 55LM7600 55-Inch Cinema 3D Smart TV that came with the Magic Remote. Well the original remote finally had it's last click and I really did not want to order another one like it since I the battery compartment was staying shut by a piece of duct tape. The Magic Remote was by far the the friendliest remote to deal with. I am so happy with this replacement. Works just like an ordinary remote but I can use it to control my apps and "Home" sections like Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand. Still have access to my 3D functions like before and all my other cool features. There are also a few other new options I have yet to conquer. I do wish it would of come with instructions though.

Mixture of pleased and angry. The anger is directed to LG. The originally supplied remote failed in just over a year of use. I live alone and can testify that it was never abused. But for this particular product I can tell you is a perfect replacement for the original remote. It worked right out of the box. All it needed were the two batteries and away it went. Given the short life of the original, I plan to get another replacement and keep it in reserve in case this one wears out. If you are looking for a replacement for your LG TV remote, this is a perfect match and the price is very reasonable.

If you’re like me and own a dog who thinks every remote you own also doubles as a chew toy, this item is for you. I’ve burned through about 6 of these guys to date, but fortunately due to Amazon’s great seller base I can always buy new remotes and keep a safety stock of these on hand. No set up to my LG smart TV, just point and click...Which is a great perk when you’re already irate that you lost another soldier (remote control) at the hands of your 39 pound Lab puppy.

Tengo una Televisión LG 3D que venía con el famoso Magic Control (uno de los inventos más extraordinarios en materia de controles remotos). Siempre funcionó muy bien hasta que mis dos perros se subieron a la cama y decidieron que ese era su nuevo juguete. Lo hicieron pedazos. Traté de reponerlo pero no lo encontré. Leí las reseñas de este y en un gran salto de fe, lo ordené. Tardó en llegar (junto con una nueva copia de Fleetwood Mac's Rumours) pero nada mas le puse las pilas y funciona de manera extraordinaria. Hasta he encontrado atajos para las funciones de mi televisión que no conocía.

me encantó que solo le puse las pilas y empezó a funcionar, no hubo necesidad de programarle nada ni configurarlo, se adaptó al instante a mi televisión LG.
