This works to bring up platelet count while doing chemo. Mayo integrative oncologist recommended and it worked! May not taste the greatest, but follow it with some water!

I've been diagnosed with ITCP. I heard about this product through Amazon and was impressed with the reviews. My experience with the product is not as dramatic as some experiences. My levels , that is, platelet count is still low but not dangerously low and it was dropping steadily. I've been taking this product for almost a year and all I can say is that my count is at a consistent level and has not dropped. My last test showed an increase, but my doctor felt that it was due to an infection I had that might have stimulated the platelets. I continue to take it because of the other benefits. I'm just trying everything - changes in diet, vitamins, and this product at the same time hoping for the best. I plan to continue to use it at least until my next checkup which is in January. It has a pleasant taste. I mix it with pomegranate juice. It's a bit pricey but then the question is: value for money? Probably.

There are many resources for those inclined to learn more about why Papaya Leaf is among one of the most precious nutritional supplements and teas in the natural medicine cabinet for those platelets! This is a strong syrup and I've found I need far less than recommended to achieve measurable improvements in blood health and general sense of well-being. I've also found I don't need to take it every day, but 2-3 day intervals with cups of tea in between are working some real magic for me and I am and will be forever grateful for what has been, for me, as close to a miracle as a skeptical empiricist will admit to having seen. I imagine the amount a given person needs will be based on a lot of variables, so of course as with anything that has direct effect on medical health, talk to your care provider and let them know you are taking it. My own PC waved it away like it was irrelevant, but can't explain the sudden and continuing rise and stabilization of my blood health.

I started using 2 tablespoons a day when my 2d platelet injection (nPlate) only showed an increase of 2. With the liquid added, the following week it increased by ten, I upped to 3 times daily and within 4 days it went up another 11 points, allowing me to finally have a chemo treatment after 3 months of low platelets and nearly 2 months of expensive drugs and injections. The injections are completed but I will continue to use this product for as long as my blood counts show it is working. Taste is strong but not objectionable. Can dilute it with water for a milder flavor.

helped to boost platelet counts faster than expected

My lab test in May 2025 showed platelet level of 72. I started this papaya leaf extract and my labs on October 2025 showed my platelets at 111. Highly recommend! I also took Floradix liquid iron. My white blood cells that were low also increased. I’m a believer!

I haven't used this long enough to see if my platelet levels have increased but because of the sickly sweet taste I just can't buy another. I do understand that the taste of papaya leaves is bitter but I'd rather get it neat and add a little maple syrup or something.

I bought this for my aunt who has a very low platelet count. Even though with taking this has made her feel & look better she had taken for a month & platelet level stayed the same which should have normally dropped - we are presuming it's cos of this product but yet to find in the next 6 mths but does say on bottle it's not a cure but hopefully should help.

I bought it as a last resort to raise my platelets before an operation. My platelets increased by 4,000 count after 2 weeks which was not a lot and I cant tell if it was the effect of the extract. I had to buy another bottle as it ran out quite quickly. In my opinion if you just want to fix your long term low platelets count, try it for a few weeks and if it doesn't help it is not for you. You might as well try the much cheaper tea leaves.
