Easy to use. Was purchased for a 7 year old and was able to do it with a little practice. Great starter set. I suggest little bags for the strings one you open the kit The colors are very cute and bright.

This was an adorable project that our whole family got involved in. I bought it for my 7 year old who loves crafting, and she loved it. It took me and two of my kids a total of about 13 or so hours to complete, so it definitely is time consuming, but well worth the hours spent. If a kid under 10 was doing this on their own I think it would be quite a long haul, they might lose interest. But again, we enjoyed it, and it looks absolutely adorable now that it is all done- my daughter loves it.
