Bought for when me & husband's arthritis plays up. Can be put in the freezer & used (wrapped in a tea towel) as cool packs or heated up & used as heat pads. Really do the job & I keep one in the freezer at all times so that we have one ready for use. They've also come in useful in this recent extreme heat as they are very cooling. You need to wrap them in something to avoid injury with the cold as they do get VERY cold. They stay flexible when frozen so easy to wrap around an injured or painful joint. I also find them good (again wrapped in a towel) to put on my forehead when I have a migraine.

Useful for back aches.

For anyone who has pain that requires hot and cold treatment, these are the best that I have found. Especially for cold. I have a few ailments including a ruptured disc. Unfortunately there is no treatment on the NHS other than exercises. Although I dd have an epidural. But unfortunately the pain relief only lasted for 5 weeks. So 3 years later and my condition hasn't improved. So these packs are really helpful in helping to block out some of the pain. I'm on a lot of pain meds, nothing to do with my back. But it was only having treatment from a private physiotherapist, that was surprised that i could feel so much pain, given my meds. She helped a lot with my sciatica, and got me to ask my gp for an mri. Well i had to be referred by an nhs physiotherapist, so that took time. But the mri vindicated what my physiotherapist said. That I have a ruptured disc. Sorry, back to my review. These pads are clear, and the gel is an unbelievable beautiful blue colour. They don't stick to my body, although I place them over my thin cotton top, so no risk of damage. They haven't leaked, are flexible, so never go solid. They are versatile, and I alternate between these and cotton pads that you microwave for heat. I bought some for my son when he hurt his shoulder. I can highly recommend them.

Very handy to keep in the fridge for emergencies

I originally purchased the Hypagel reusable hot and cold pads for post-surgery recovery from my wisdom tooth extraction. It provided amazing pain relief and aided my healing process significantly. But, as it turns out, this little gem has more uses than I initially thought! On sweltering summer days, it's my go-to cool pad, bringing much-needed relief from the heat. And ladies, this one's for you - it's a lifesaver during that time of the month! No more messing around with leaky hot water bottles for period cramps. The HypaGel pad is so easy to use, and it holds its temperature for a long while. I love its versatility and effectiveness. Truly a worthwhile purchase, exceeding all expectations!

First time using ice gel packs and didn’t see the caution at the back thus experiencing my first ever ever ice burn and now facing the consequences and healing from that! But other than that, product is good just wish it said at the front and in red caution. Sometimes when you’re in pain, you forget to read every single line and just want to soothe. Not the brand fault but my own, but a suggestion to perhaps have it as part of the description even for the product or like on the actual image *MUST NOT PUT ON SKIN DIRECTLY* 🥹.

I have used these both hot and cold and they work well.

Mutli-use hot or cold gel packs. Use regularly and still perfect.
