It’s solid but hangs low
Hitch is good but the nature of the car make for a complicated installation. I paid to have it installed. And then it hangs low, which it why I’m writing the review. The exhaust of the X5 is at the exact same level as my particular bike rack (1Up). It was slowly melting the bike rack bushing and finally after a 90ish minute drive, the heat from the exhaust melted my carbon fiber bike rim. So the point is, check the exhaust heat for what whatever you are doing with your setup 👍🏼

REQUIRES BUMPER CUTTING
PURCHASED THIS FOR MY BMW X5 NOT REALIZING THE REAR BUMPER WOULD NEED CUT TO INSTALL. I DIDN'T REALIZE WITHIN RETURN ELIGIBILTY. TRYING TO SEE IF I CAN SELL IT. VERY DIDSAPPOINTED.
