So far I really like it, it loop records and it looks super OEM, the angle is very wide, you can see from pillar to pillar, yes it’s that wide! I just got it so that’s it so far but I will say Installation is a b!tch, I suggest not doing it yourself and get one other person to make it a 2 man team unless you want a challenge, it’s so tight and requires good dexterity.

I was kinda skeptical about installing the camera on my brand new Lexus because it involved doing electrical stuff & removing & replacing OEM parts & I've been known to break things. Not the case with this camera. Everything went without a hitch & at one point I thought I might be stuck so I wrote the manufacturer a message & they responded within a couple hours. I was wrong, I figured it out a minute after I sent the email, but after the install, which took me about 15-20 mins (that includes vacuuming my car), I was sitting in my Livingroom thinking about how happy I was with the product, their response came in & that blew me away because it hadn't even been 4 hours, much less 24 hours. Very happy with the product formatted a 256gig memory card with the camera & it works great. Love the product & love the way it looks . . . . . . like the car was made that way! With the camera built in. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Followed the instructions for a Lexus 2020 ES300H, but still had a small problem with the cover. One of the clips broke off. Not a Fitcamx problem, but a Lexus bad engineering of a small flimsy clip. The original cover I took off has the same flimsy bottom clips. Need to be careful when installing. Fitcamx customer service understood my problem and supplied me with a new cover. Excellent customer service. Switched the camera to the new cover and everything worked just fine. The dash cam works great. Tested different settings until I found the ones that work best for me. Medium sensitivity is fine.

An unbiased review. First, the item is shipped from Hong Kong. So need patient to get it. Shipment and packing is acceptable. Installation is easy but very careful when slid in the FirCam cover. The material is not vet high quality so the small clips can be broken if not very careful when sliding it back. It happened to me and attached a photo of the one. Lip broken. Other 3 clips are holding mine tight and in place. Make sure all wirings are secure inside not touching the side clips. Instructions are not very clear. Two tiny black button switches on the unit. Partially hide away once installed. So remember, the left most button is for power. Keep this always on. When power is on, two blue tiny LEDs to its right keep flashing. The second bottom to right of the left button is to reset to factory settings if keep pressing for 220 seconds. It is not listed in instructions. Under there is a paper clip insertable reset too. Not listed in instruction. Once vehicle is turned on, blue LEDs start flashing. Download the RoadCam App. Check the available WiFi in your. Look for a WiFi car sting with CAR or ldh. Not clearly stated in instructions. Connect it and open the App. Select Setting icon and open the menu. Reformat the already provided Sd card when it is in the unit slot. If you don’t do it video recording may not happen. All these info not described in instruction leaf let us obtained from the supplier through several emails. So be patient. Good thing is the supplier is very responsive. Deal directly with supplier. Please do not go through Amazon. It will be frustrating. Video quality is average. Not high quality without glare. Once all set, you need not do anything. Just start your vehicle and drive. It automatically record. You can select video clip size, length and sensitivity using the App when paired with the unit using the in-built WiFi with the unit. No motion activated recording while parked. No polarized lens cover either. That is lot of info. Hope you enjoy the unit if not like to spend $600 for genuine Lexus dashcam.
