Sempio Gochujang with Lemon (8.8oz) - Korean Chili Paste, Sweet, Sour, Savory...

I buy and love both gluten free versions. This has a little more acidity and mois to so great for glazes. I put in chili’s as it’s a perfect complement for a Smokey heat without adding a lot of moisture. I use it several times a week. I’ve never had a gluten allergy reaction but it does put a fire in your belly that I love. 100% grade yummy in the tummy. 🤗🥰🤩

Overall, I find that the gochujang is an excellent sauce to have in the fridge. It has the medium, spicy base of other gochujangs, but it has a slight sweetness(non-artificial) with a mildly tart aftertaste. As the packaging states, it is used for a dipping or dressing- which I agree with. It’s a great side dip for any meat or vegetables. Highly recommended for those who like a moderately spicy, red pepper-based sauces without additional, overwhelming flavor.

The finish is slightly spicy, not too sweet, and the clean finish is very satisfying. It really goes very well with bibimbap! plus, It's not too big size, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in the refrigerator, and it's just the right amount, so you can eat it fresher. It is delicious and can be used in a variety of foods. I like it so much I recommend it

I wanted to try the lemon twist to this traditional gochujang. Not bad. Adds just a little citrus to the mix. I still have the traditional gochujang in my home but this one caught my eye/ I only ever saw it online. I have never seen it in Hmart or other korean markets.

It is sweet and deep in taste. Some Gochujang has a strong sour taste, but it is moderately sweet and has a strong concentration, so it is good to eat. It goes well with seafood. Especially perfect to eat with shrimp dishes for my diet. My husband said it was the best he'd ever eaten.

I just mixed it with other Sauce to try to use it up. It's nice spicy and has little kick.

Conoscevo questa marca per aver preso lo scorso anno una confezione di Miso, da 480 grammi. Non avevo mai terminato le varie buste o scatole di miso, che compro dal lontano 1986, quando non sapevo neanche cosa fosse e come si mangiava: era un 'Miso Estivo', rosso, acquistato addirittura in erboristeria, credo marca KI, una linea penso italiana di cibi macrobiotici e forse distribuita da Prosperità, di Bologna famosa per essere importatrice dei meravigliosi incensi Auroshikha. Detto questo, posso affermare che ero molto attratto dal peperoncino di questa marca ed in questa confezione: la scatola del miso Sempio resta ed è davvero carina da riutilizzare in tanti modi, previa ovvia deodorizzazione, stante il contenuto non esattamente profumatissimo... La piccantezza è leggera, e si sente una qual certa nota agrumata che a me piace, e che differenzia questo prodotto, dagli altri della stessa Casa Produttrice, che sono più basici ma anche meno aromatici. Naturalmente troverete sotto il coperchio, la bustina anti-umidità. Credo si possa utilizzare per insaporire un pò di tutto, senza eccedere nelle quantità: è pur sempre cibo piccante. Voto 7
