Works amazing for scratches on dark wood floor
I must have dragged something sharp over my wood floors, they were stained dark last year and the scratch was near a window so it was terribly visible. It was a LONG thin scratch. I used this stain pencil in ebony over the wood, I colored in the scratch like a little kid drawing with a crayon, getting it from all angles. The excess wiped away easily with a rag, You can't even tell where the scratch was. I am so happy this pencil worked because I had tried stain markers for another spot previously and they are hard to apply neatly, excess gets on the good part of the wood and won't wipe off, and looks fake. I will only use these pencils from now on.

Great Product....with a few suggestions
This stuff is PERFECT for nail holes. Had to fill in over 100 nail holes in a huge bookcase after the contractor used the wrong sized nails. Fortunately. I had made them use Minwax stain for the bookcases so the Blend Fil pencil was an exact match. Some suggestions: this stained wax will not work on scratches or large holes and when you do use it, use a small amount to fill the hole and use a rough cloth of some kind to remove the excess and you will never even notice the nail holes and finally, make sure you order the Blend fil pencil that exactly matches the stain. Great product and saved me from going totally insane about the bookcase once I saw what the contractor had done.....Minwax saved the day...and my sanity.

Easy to use
This works pretty well on my kitchen cabinets. I used it to co we up the ware on the under kitchen sink ones and looks great. The pencil ribbon is hard to unwrap but ok.

Okay Nail hole filler.
As a nail hole filler, it is okay but requires some pressure back and forth to fill a small nail hole. White color blends in well with white painted moldings. Dries quickly and can be painted over as soon as it is applied. Pencil tip will break off if too much pressure is used. A little pricey for a pencil filler.

Not worth it
I wanted to use this to fill in the nail holes a carpenter left when he installed a doorframe. This seemed the ideal product and it might have been if the filler had not been dried out to rock hard consistency. It was impossible to soften it and it broke and then crumbled into grainy little bits. I said a few choice words, then tried using an eyebrow pencil to fill a few of the holes. It worked perfectly. I'm going to wait a few weeks and see how that "quick fix" holds up. If it doesn't hold up I'll buy wood filler. Until then, it's looking good enough to pass.

Ebony for IKEA black brown Hemnes
I have 5 IKEA Hemnes bookcases that I’ve gotten at various times over the past 10+ years. They all had dings, scratches, scrapes from life in an active household. One bookcase in particular had the finish worn off the bottom from a rocking chair scraping the bookcase. This pencil filled every single thing in! Amazing. It took a lot of time and some elbow grease. For the deeper gouges you can still see the little dips, but they’re the same color as the rest of the furniture now. I’m really pleased with how much better they all look now and strongly recommend you give it a go. My method was to fill in the dings, scratches, etc and then rub it with an old tee shirt to blend.

Useful and handy
When I use these I keep flashing back to elementary school art classes. I just remember my friends and I unwrapping them until the art teacher would get upset. Now that I pay for them I get it. I t also takes forever to use one - provided you don’t unroll the wrapper prematurely. I have used them for all sorts of things but when u need just a smidge of color - absolutely worth their weight in gold. Now if you have a divot or a ding, the colored putty/wood filler is what you want. I will admit that I used to use a more premium brand of stain, but now that I live in a more rural area, mini wax is easier to find and the complete line just means I don’t get in the middle of anything and have a supply issue and then there is always Amazon which is getting to be like next day delivery.

Pour arranger l'esthétique du meuble après sa réparation. Fonctionne pas mal comme un crayon de cire ou de la pâte à modeler. Après un peu de pratique, le résultat est satisfaisant
