The lubricant included, can that be used on the guide pins? Or what is it for?

That is brake component lubricant. Use this lubricant on the ends of the brake pads and within the notches of the abutment clips. It helps the pad move smoothly during the braking process to prevent unnatural wear on the pad. I also use it on the back of the pad where contact is made with the caliper but that isn't absolutely necessary. Do not let this lubricant make contact with the actual braking surface of the pad or rotor face. If it does be sure to thoroughly wipe the surfaces clean.

No, watch a YouTube video on replacing brake pads. That’s grease to put in a couple of spots on the tabs of the pad (NOT on the pad of course) to reduce noise I believe.
