Mother in law had one like this for YEARS and it broke. wanted me to glue it.. it was the hinge that broke. thought it was easier to get a new one and amazon did not disappoint... they had this and it is EXACTLY like the one she broke.

Seems to be a well made mirror. Time will tell. The stand is sturdy and the magnification is clear.

The Diane Hand Mirror came with a product label stuck onto the mirror itself which was hard to remove so I would have preferred that it be placed on the handle! The mirror can be hand held or it can be free standing by using the small fold up stand. It provides 1x and 3x magnification (front and back side) but for make up I'm thinking that other mirrors I considered which provided 7x would have been better but they were more expensive. This mirror is a good value for the price.

Nice design as the mirror can be held with a neatly designed handle that hinges to become a stand that I keep on a shelf in my shower, last mirror I had had a conventional handle and slipped off the shelf as I had the mirror propped at an angle, handle becomes a proper stand on this mirror!

Accidental drop at 8 inches off the ground. The mirror had 1 large shatter that ruined the general optics. Would rather use the bathroom mirror instead

Perfect side for traveling. Takes up very little space in my makeup case. My old one just broke. I tried another brand that distorted terribly so I came back to tried and true

I have a similar mirror and was expecting solid cast plastic base. instead its this hollow base with plastic hinges that fell apart, it was never able to stand up. Absolutely terrible quality for the price. Got a better one for £2.49 from Superdrug.
