Landmass Scratch Off World Map, Detailed Travel Poster, 24x17 Inches

Love it! Scratching stuff off is crazy fun. The flags are a welcome addition to every other similar item out there. My only tiny nitpicks: 1- As others mentioned, it's a little smaller than you might be expecting. 2- The roll is fairly tight, and you'll have to contort it a bit to get it to lie flattish. They do provide some instructions to help though. 3- As a result, mine came with a few areas where the foil was lightly scraped or damaged during this flattening process (or maybe even before then). And in the process of scratching off some of the places I've been, I caused a few more to appear with my hand or palm. 4- The foil outlines don't precisely match the map underneath, mine had some offset, so you will occasionally screw up scratching things off on the borders. 5- Since each US state is separate, and more colors costs more to produce (I assume), some neighboring states are the same color, which is a small shame. 6- 210 flags are included, so some additional "countries" like Aruba and Abkhazia are included, but other similar ones like Curacao are not. It's just a little random, but they're listed alphabetically so either it's there or it's not. Don't let my list fool you. These are tiny nitpicks. Overall it's an awesome map, and lots of fun to research which little islands or border countries to scratch off. Tip: I used a flosser pick to do my scrapings. Thin and pointy enough for detail work, but stiff enough to scrape the foil without damaging the plasti-paper underneath.

Makes a perfect gift, especially for a travel enthusiast! The person absolutely loved it and got to scratching! The map itself is high quality and the colours are bright when scratched. Product was in great condition when received. The stickers are a nice addition and the packaging itself is also nice!

I love my map! I originally bought this as a Christmas gift for my travel agent and she raved about it. She chose to scratch off the places she's visited and then framed it behind glass so it didn't get accidentally scratched. Her plan is to pull it out every so often to be updated with freshly scratched destinations! Mine will be framed and hung in my home office. The gold foil and bright colors will go very well with my existing decor and it will be exciting to scratch off new sections as I travel more. One thing I especially like about this map is the ability to scratch off individual US states and Canadian provinces. Living in NYS in the US I often travel to Canada, but it is a huge country and I have only experienced 1/10 of it!

I had been wanting one of these for a while now. I was happy with the delivery time and the quality of the paper but there are a few issues which are easily resolved. It comes rolled up very tight, the thickness of the paper makes it difficult to straighten but I here there is a newer version with better paper which allows for easier unrolling. Make sure you go for the large version for greater readability. Also, if you plan to mount it on a frame (like shown in the pictures) the border is very tight. The flags and Greenland are close to the edge so you may consider double sided tape or pins.

I bought this as a present to my brother and I love it! Such a good quality! Even the simple package where it came with all the stickers and stuffs. The price is right, so far we don't have any problems scratching off the countries. I followed all the instructions they send me an it's so good. I framed it so it can last longer. My brother love the fact that it came with all the countries flags to scratch.

Ordered a map for Fathers Day. The map came packaged very nicely and secure, but was damaged... Wrinkled and torn up a bit, not ok for displaying! I contacted Landmass customer service though right away, and they took care of me! They sent me a brand new one with speedy shipping. This one looks great! My hubby has done a lot of traveling, so it will be fun to scratch away. Fun item, definitely recommended! I love companies with good service. Problems can occur with even the best items; it's all about how you handle things... THANK YOU!

We love this map! We are using it for my 6 year old to track the missionaries we pray for each week through our church. He is thrilled and gets so excited when it's time to scratch off a new country and flag. Like some previous reviews stated, there were a few "scratch" marks but I think that would be nearly possible to avoid and it hasn't been an issue for us. I would definitely recommend this map.

It has been very difficult to get this map strait since it's been curled up in a tube. When we try to flatten it it is very easy to accidentally scrape off some of the covering. Otherwise very nice!

I got this for a friend for her birthday. It came in its own box and was very well packaged. Friend has it up on her wall and her and her kids are look forward visiting another country just so they can scratch it off and bring more colour to the map. 🗺

I've just received my map and the first impression is really good! I started scratching off a couple of countries and the results are satisfactory. It will be only challenging for some regions like Europe. I used the black plastic tool that came in the kit and it was really hard keep just under the borders for Czech Republic. A brush to help with the cleaning would be nice as I saw in other maps kit... Also, I'd like to have the provinces borders as done for the USA for other big countries, such as Brazil! Overall it is a beautiful gift! I'm adding photos that may help you seeing details a bit unclear on the original product images. I'd buy it again, no regrets!
