Fantastic and imaginative
My kid has asked me to read this book--and it's companion volume, "Hello Stage Fright"--to her multiple times every day since it arrived. I usually do, because the story and the art are imaginative and fun. So many kids books slowly drive a parent insane. So many kids books these days are full of art that is bad, or even purposefully ugly. Hello Ninja is so much better. In this one, Wesley has a loose tooth. His friend Georgie helps him pull it, promising him a payday from Captain Dart--who's way better than the Tooth Fairy. Hijinks ensue as the pair lose the pulled tooth, travel to the land of Ninja, ride a dragon to chase a magpie, sneak past a serpent, and realize that missing out on a payday can be a lot more rewarding. One thing to note on reading level: While it's marked as a Level 1 book by the publisher, HarperCollins, in their "I Can Read!" series, it's notably more advanced than a Level 1 book in Random House's "Step into reading" series. Younger ones will be listening to you read this, before they can read it themselves.

Fun Twist on a Tooth Tale closer to Level 2 reading
An enjoyable tale about a lost tooth. The illustrations are on par with cartoons. The colors are vibrant and the characters engaging. I would say the reading level in my opinion is closer to Level 2 reading. There are some more complex sentences a beginner reader or someone struggling to read might find challenging.

Losing baby teeth
One of the many books that I have donated to teachers classrooms to promote reading across America in our young children. Every child loses their baby teeth!

Even though she’s too young to read it herself, my baby loves having this book read to her! I like it because it’s fun and imaginative, but more importantly, it has great moral values! 100% recommend this book!
