What is the distance between the teeth?

The teeth are wider at the top than the bottom. Dividing the length of the comb (about 7.5 inches) by the number of spaces (21) there are about 3 gaps at the bottom per inch. This comb is much thicker than the average hair comb. It does a good job of detangling and is very good for reducing frizziness.

Is this comb seamless?

There's a faint seam longways down the back of the comb. However, if you're worried about this comb breaking, I'd say give it a chance. You can tell it's different just by the weight and feel of the comb. I can't imagine it breaking, even through the thickest hair. I had to buy the black one for my brother b/c he wanted to steal my pink one for his 4c fro. The spacing and tapering of the teeth help the comb to detangle the hair wet or dry. I've got naturally curly dense 4a/4b hair. Really satisfied with this item.
