Staedtler Mechanical Pencil, 0.5mm, Drafting Pencil, All Black, 925 35-05B

This pencil as the perfect weight and style for technical drawings and taking notes. I wish it had a built in lead sharpener in the cap though. I also replaced the HB lead with B. Still 5 stars. It’s my favorite pencil.

El agarre texturizado bajo, peso medio y grosor del lápiz hacen cómodo su uso, mientras que la guía de puntilla no es retráctil, lo cual puede ser inadecuado en ciertas circunstancias, pero es útil para cuidar la puntilla y utilizar herramientas de dibujo técnico. Además, cuenta con un indicador de dureza de puntilla justo encima de la sección texturizada, un clip muy firme (acero inoxidable, supongo), un borrador muy pequeño y un delgado alambre de acero pegado al borrador, para despejar los tubos por donde corren las puntillas. Viene en una sencilla funda de plástico.Al ser de grosor fino (0.5 mm), hay que tomar precauciones en su uso para evitar quebrar las puntillas, sobre todo las blandas (B en adelante). Aún así, la experiencia en la escritura será fantástica, sobre todo con la puntilla y papel adecuados. Vale la pena invertir en un lápiz como éste.Ampliamente recomendado.

Uno de mis portaminas favoritos en version all black. Es espectacular, bueno, bonito...pero no barato, lo que me falla de este modelo és el tapon de detrás de plastiquito, algo metálico luciria más. Aunque si que quizás subiría el peso del conjunto pero és que así, desmerece la excelente calidad del producto. Un portaminas metálico de peso contenido y un acabado negro mate. Diferente al gris o al azul midnight de la serie 900 25 de staedtler.Yo lo he añadido a mi colección.

I've only ever used 0.5mm mechanical pencils before. I went on a bit of a rabbit hole into mechanical pencils earlier this week, and decided to get a Staedtler 925 35-03B (black, all metal model) in 0.3mm.The pencil feels amazing in the hand. The knurling feels very secure between my fingers, while still being soft. It almost feels like tacky rubber, but it's metal. The build quality is outstanding. The balance of the pen is really good and feels really stable for writing or tracing lines. The pencil looks really good, too.The only thing that concerns me is the lack of a cap. The tip is thin and long, and since the pencil is hefty for its size, if I were to drop it the tip might bend. Would've been nice to have something to protect it included with it. I'll probably 3D print a small case for it so I can carry it with me instead of leaving it at home. In the meantime, I'll stow my cheaper Staedtler in my backpack.That aside, the first feel and uses were extremely positive.
