Works well.

I bought this pen to fix and brighten up the metal scarab that was attached to my Valentino bag. The scarab had scratches and while I was advised to get a new scarab piece from Italy I decided against it. The original coat on the piece is a matte gold unlike the metal on the strap so getting this shiny gold color was a good match. I took the scarab off, and gave it two coats. I let the metal piece set for 24 hours because I didn’t know how long it took to set. The finished job looks beautiful and it was so easy to use.

Purchased to make the gold in my mirror “pop” more. The gold really does look beautiful and gives a gold leaf effect. I used about half of one pen. Super easy to use! I actually ended up using it for some other smaller projects/decor that I was going to spray paint but decided this would be an easier experience. Added bonus: Dries fast! And obviously not made to have for months so I’d purchase/use within a month or so.

I used this to refresh some cheap costume jewelry that had faded and turned that ugly brass color. Was easy to apply and the pen made it easier to do detail work around stones and such (versus using spray paint). Would not use this for precious jewelry or even gold plated that’s important to you, but for your Temu/SHEIN/forever 21 pieces it works beautifully and gives new life. I may go over with some glossy clear nail polish to give a shine since this drys down a little matte, but I really don’t mind the finish. Really recommend this to keep your cheap jewelry out of the landfill and wearable for a little bit longer!

Favorite pen for gold leafing around edges. Good ink flow, dries quickly and comfortable to hold.

今まで色んなメタリックカラーを使って見ましたが、紙媒体にこんなにハッキリとし着彩できるのは初めてです。 アクリル絵の具でも何度も重ね塗りをしなければ発色しないのですが、これは一度塗りで綺麗に発色しました！ この手の品は色ムラが付き物ですが、全くと言って良いほどありません。 個人的には凄く満足ですが… ・有機溶剤の臭いがするので、開封後は早めに使い切る・素材によって相性に注意 ・ニブが摩耗しやすい ・完全乾燥に少し時間がかかる ・価格が高い 不満もありますが、これらを許容出来るほどの魅力的な色彩です。 こだわりのある方に是非お勧めします。

I use this pen for acrylic paintings. I had looked for years and watched so many YouTube videos to try and find some of the easiest to use but also most reflective and gold like painting/leafing options. This is one of the best. I had used so many paints that were very disappointing and left a minimally reflective brassy gold colour. This pen gives a very bright and highly reflective result that really catches the eye. I generally prefer adding gold as a finer detail and I have not tried using this pen to cover large areas but in my opinion it actually dispenses paint quite well and you can build up larger areas (though I would not use this to cover an entire background or anything). It does have a stronger smell (I kind of like the smell but I was that kid whose parents had to forbid from smelling permanent markers as a kid). For very fine details I sometimes push down on the nib on my pallet to release some paint and then use a fine liner brush to dip into the paint, which works well. If you do varnish over the paint it does lose some of its brilliance as something to keep in mind- but is still reflective and still gives a good gold impression. Highly recommend.

Amazing product.....after using this I didn’t even wanted to go back to any other pen. A bit expensive but loved the gold colour it gives.
