Perfect Christmas Gift for My Astronomy-Loving Nephew
I bought this telescope as a Christmas present for my nephew who’s absolutely into space and stargazing, and it was a hit! The 70 mm aperture makes images bright and clear, and the range of magnification (about 15X–150X) is just right for beginners to see planets and the moon up close. Assembly was straightforward, even my nephew had it set up quickly. The adjustable tripod makes it easy to use outside, and the included phone adapter and wireless remote let him take photos of what he sees through the lens, which he loves. Great quality for the price, and a thoughtful gift for any young space enthusiast. Highly recommend!

Perfect telescope
Perfect telescope for kids and beginners! Easy to set up, clear instructions, and amazing image quality. The 70mm aperture and coated lenses make planets and stars look sharp and bright. Sturdy tripod, great magnification range (15X–150X), and super easy to use. My kid loves it and uses it all the time. Totally worth it!

Perfect Beginner Telescope for the Whole Family
I bought this telescope for my son who just started getting interested in space, and it’s been amazing! The setup was super easy — we had it ready to use in about 10 minutes. The build quality feels solid yet lightweight, so it’s easy to carry outside or take on trips. The image clarity is surprisingly good for a beginner telescope. We’ve been able to clearly see the Moon’s craters and even caught a glimpse of Jupiter’s moons on a clear night! The adjustable magnification (15X–150X) gives plenty of options for both wide and close views. The included phone adapter and wireless remote are great extras — we were able to take really nice photos through the telescope without shaking the view. It’s an awesome way to share what we see with friends and family. Overall, this telescope is a great value for beginners or kids who are curious about astronomy. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy, fun way to explore the night sky!

Tricky to setup but can see Saturn
Decent telescope that requires some patience (and probably a different tripod). Our kids are really into space and we got this to let them look at the moon as well as planets. Setting up the finder can be tricky. I ended up getting it close and then taking into account the little adjustment I needed to make when looking for planets. The tripod that came with it is very difficult to work with, I ended up switching to a better tripod I had. It's tricky enough that my kids couldn't set it up themselves, but they enjoy when I'm able to get it focused right and then have them look. It's pretty easy to focus on the moon. With a decent effort I was able to get it to focus on Saturn and you can just barely see the rings. Pretty fun but be patient when trying to line things up.

Tripod wouldn't stay locked on a tilt position
I got this to look at Jupiter during an event. It was super close and seemed like a fun simple buy. This comes with the adapter to use your phone as well. The tripod would lock left and right but not tilting if your phone was on the adapter, especially not longer lenses. So you could point up at the sky but it wouldn't stay there. I used the spotting scope and sometimes it would be right in the center of the crosshairs, sometimes it would be in the upper left quadrant and sometimes in the right upper. It was infuriating trying to find what was so close and obvious in the sky. I occasionally did hit it but I had to hold the telescope into position and the wiggle from my hand made it so hard to see the object. The adapter seemed great but think of it as a teeter totter, once it was on it was too heavy for the tripod to stay in place, even the longer viewing lenses added too much weight. The adapter didn't work with even a bumper case but that seemed ok to just take off during use 😑 well I was struggling so much and constantly having to adjust that if you don't have that adapter locked down tight and perfectly on your phone then your phone calls off unexpectedly. Now since there is no case to perfect it... I have a cracked screen for the first time in my 20yrs of having cell phones. I got a $49 professional tripod that uses a ball joint for finer movements but haven't tried the telescope again, it's too cold at midnight now.

Great first telescope
This is a great little starter telescope for kids at a very reasonable price. Assembly and setup were simple and quick, so we were using it the same evening. The image quality is good enough to clearly see the Moon and some bright stars, which really impressed my child. It's lightweight and easy for kids to handle on their own, making it perfect for first-time young astronomers.
